I took my sister up to Byron for her 30th birthday and we spent 5 nights at The Cape Beach House. It had come highly recommended, so we had high expectations. We were not disappointed. The house is beautiful, bright, light, airy with a really welcoming feel. Rooms are cute and clean. We had the room at the end (back of house) which is great as it feels very private. The place is run by the gorgeous Katie, who bent over backwards to ensure we had a fabulous stay. Breakfast is served with homemade baked good (the pear and white choc muffins were a fave), fruit, homemade museli and more. Located just a short stroll from town. Close to Wategos and Tallows beaches and importantly right nearby Topshop cafe for easy and delicious coffee and lunch stops. I had stayed in town last time I was in Byron, but will only ever stay here from now on. Such a perfect stay. Thanks again Katie for making our stay so amazing and for ensuring my sister had a memorable birthday trip. We will be back!

I recently turned 30 and my lovely sister surprised me with a trip to Byron Bay to celebrate - and booked The Cape Beach House for our 5 night stay.

It was the perfect trip! As soon as you arrive, you feel at home. The gorgeous owner and host, Katie met us at the door and showed us around the beautiful property and the facilities (there is a super-cute communal kitchen/living area with everything you could possibly need - plus, this is where Katie sets up communal brekkie every morning including her daily freshly baked muffins which are to die for!)

The rooms are beautiful - they're not enormous, but they're perfect. They're just B&B bedrooms with a very comfy bed, a bathroom and a small couch and TV. It's all you need for a stay in Byron Bay, because you don't spend time in your room - we spent the days lying by the pool, or on the deck... Or just across the road is the beautiful Byron Bay beach (and the yummy Byron Bay Beach Cafe).

The location is perfect - 10 min walk to the Lighthouse, 2 min walk to the best breakfast and burgers in Byron Bay (Top Shop) and 5 min walk into town.

I honestly loved my stay at The Cape Beach House and Katie is just the best host; so warm, welcoming, hospitable, helpful and so lovely. You feel like you're staying with a friend... It made my 30th the perfect holiday.

Highly recommend and will definitely be back very soon!

My partner & I love to kick back & relax here, it's our 'Byron home'. We love how close all the things are that we love i.e the surf breaks, the walk/run tracks, the coffees, the beach and cafes. A good nights sleep is also important to us so we enjoy the more peaceful nature of being in this part of Byron. The hosts are exceptional, matching us up with restaurants and activities that suited our tastes, we instantly felt like old friends. We had everything we needed at our finger tips and arrived to a very clean room. We've stayed 3 times so far and this is just the beginning....

We stayed only two nights before New Years but it was an amazing stop for us. Got up early the next day to head to the lighthouse before breakfast was served...good idea as loads of people were thinking the same thing as us! Breakfast was fantastic and Katie is a wonderful host.
Beach is across the road, town was a 10-15min walk away but never an issue. In fact it was nice to stay at Clarkes Beach to get away from the craziness (especially around NYE).
Would stay here again without a doubt.

We went there for anniversary. It was every bit as lovely as we thought it would be and then some more!
Even before we arrived service was great (a reminder of the time difference and leaving, places to see on our way back ) someone was there to greet us, and recommend places to eat. Breakfast was lovely and great was to start day. Kate was very helpful and as others said that was the only time we really saw the fellow guests but everyone seemed really nice. The room was perfect and luxurious.
It was perfect location for our weekend, and if possible to be back in Byron I would 100% be booking to stay here. We had fabulous weekend! Thanks!

Stayed for a weekend, 2 nights, very relaxing. Room was lovely, clean, airy, lots of space to store things in the fridge in the kitchen. Wonderful breakfast (fruit, homemade muffins, bagels), books to read, games to play (scrabble, monopoly). Just across the road from the beach, a 5-10 minute stroll to town and the patrolled beach. The thing that makes this place so special is without doubt the hostess Katie. She is wonderful, friendly, caring, interested. Thank you for a lovely weekend...and Katie...no diamonds for me..hope you get them when its your turn!

Room Tip: I think they are all good!
