Drinks we're pretty normal price.
Chips were good and good value but meals were pretty expensive.
Great location for a drink at lunchtime.
Didn't stay at the hotel but the restaurant was pretty decent.
Open mic night was pretty average but the house band was pretty good.

Had the worst food today for lunch. How can they charge so much for such rubbish. The food was not visually appetising. The S&P squid was dry & rubbery. The wedges came out of a frozen packet. The pork sliders were dry tasteless with a cardboard bun for $16. Definitely won't be dining there again, since there are so many other restaurants in Byron who have respect for good produce & service.

This place has a great location but poor service and poor food! Very over priced for the basic food you get! And they have a surcharge on Sundays! (Price your food and wages better!) in summary don't wast your time ratting here go somewhere nice! (No chips with S&P squid, $16 hot dog was disgusting!)

Security are treasures, the beer garden is relaxed and spacious with views of the ocean, there are a minimum of two bars to choose from (on Melbourne Cup day there were three), and the DJs spin some mean beats. Good stuff at the Beachy!

My partner and I stayed here a few weeks back and It was everything we could have wished for and more. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left. The beach hotel is set on prime real-estate in the heart of beautiful Byron Bay. The hotel it's self it literally a hop skip and a jump to everything. It's 50m from the beach, 25m to the Main Street and 5m to the best cold beers in town at the pub next door.

The accommodation itself it's very clean, comfortable, spacious and has some of the best views on offer in Byron. The reception girls were very help and recommended a few local spots to eat, drink and play which came in very handy! You also get a car space complimentary with your room which is super handy considering you have to pay to park in most spots in Byron.

After reading a few reviews we were a bit skeptical about the noise coming
From the pub but those complaining must have super sonic hearing because we couldn't hear a thing and we stayed on a Friday night- we got a perfect nights sleep (probably because we spent most of the night dancing up a storm at the pub and we were buggered- awesome music!)

We definitely got value for money - and we would recommend it to anyone thinking about a nice weekend away!

My comments are on the pub food not the accommodations.
I don't mind paying for good food but what I experienced today will prevent me from coming back again.
Average quality food at best at expensive prices.
Try somewhere else!

My girlfriend and I are currently staying at the Beach Hotel. We are having a grand time. We are in one of the loft suites, which faces the beach and overlooks the pool. Whilst the hotel is showing its age and could do with a refresh, it still represents good value in our opinion. The reception staff are very helpful and the housekeeping staff are very friendly and efficient. The hotel pool and spa are fantastic and the proximity to all things byron is unreal. Great to have a park in the hotel, which is included in the cost. When I called to ask about the noise issue, I was given an honest assessment. For the record, it is not an issue! So if you are looking to stay in a comfortable and spacious hotel suite that is in the best location in Byron Bay, stay at the Beach a Hotel!

Room Tip: Room 21 or 22 have great views of the beach and the pool!
