We loved this resort so much we don't think we will be able to stay anywhere else in Byron again because we will probably be disappointed.

The new owners are fantastic - I think it's because it's a family business, they are all so friendly. Travelling with a toddler can sometimes be difficult, but they made it easy and organised everything we needed with a smile and at a reasonable price.

The apartment we stayed in had just been renovated... I can't complain about anything... it was modern, had everything we needed, the beds and couches were comfy and extremely clean and the washing machine and dryer seemed new. It was very roomy and quiet which again was fantastic for a family holiday. I was a bit worried about the rooms after reading some reviews on trip advisor but found out when we arrived that the new owners have renovated every apartment.

The amenities are also all very well looked after. The tennis court has night lights, the pool and spa are a good size and very clean and surrounded by a beautiful garden and there's also a toddlers pool.

The only negative for some people is it's not right in the middle of town - but for us that was a positive because with a young family, the noise at night isn't great...

I stayed in the Ibis Beach house at The Oasis resort in Jan this year. We're from Sydney and having young children we wanted somewhere that was closely positioned to the town of Byron but not amongst the riff raff of it all We chose The Oasis after being recommended it by a few friends that had stayed there previously. There was my husband and I, our 1 year old twin daughters and my parents, plus other family members coming and going over the weekend that were also staying in Byron. The Ibis is a large house which has been newly renovated with a huge outdoor entertaining area. We LOVED staying here and will definately be coming back. They were so accomodating to us especially with the children and requesting 2 x portacots, bedding, extra towels etc and nothing seemed a drama which was refreshing as we're seasoned travellers and don't always get the same reception when travelling with twins.

We were 3 friends staying for 4 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment getting away from the Christchurch eathquakes. It was very tidy and the pool/spa area was very very good. We enjoyed all the lovely landscaping and found the place to be very relaxing. The apartments were updated and fresh and had good furniture and kitchen equipment. There is no lift and the apartments are either on 1st or 2nd floor which was no problem for us. They had good staff/managers who were helpful. Its a 5 minute drive into the main town area so you need a car. Overall a very nice stay.

Stayed in Unit 3, unit had undergone a fairly recent renovation, had two bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and large living area.

While I cannot speak for other room fit outs etc, we were extremely happy with this unit and its modern renovation, the complex was well maintained and quiet, staff were friendly and there is a nice short walk to the beach.

Closer enough to hit the main beach and town centre and then go back to a nice quiet location.

The apartments were well appointed including ensuite, air conditioning, laundry and private balcony. They were clean and well maintained. The gardens were beautiful and well cared for as was the pool area. The pool itself was quite large and also had a toddler pool, spa and sauna. Large and again very clean and well maintained bbq's and outdoor kitchen. The complex was peaceful and relaxing (was during school hols) away from the main shopping area of Byron but it is just a 5 min drive away.

We stayed at the Oasis in the Kingfisher Tree Tophouse for our honeymoon. We booked super early and got a fantastic deal. The house is lovely, a little rustic, but very comfortable.Free wifi a bonus! The deck with jacuzzi is lovely and we loved sitting in it, sipping champagne in the early evening. It's a1/2 hour easy walk into town, but having a car was very useful as Tallow beach is not good for swimming. Organising to borrow table tennis and tennis equipment was very easy and we enjoyed a hit on the court under lights. The pool was very nice and was not too busy. We stayed during schoolies and were glad to hear they don't take this type of booking. The resort was generally a quiet and peaceful place.

My brother got married on the beach just up the road, and it was perfect. The tree top house was spectacular (where the bride and groom stayed) and my apartment was also really nice. I felt the staff were especially helpful and advised us on great places to see. We had our own parking directly under the apartments, which was very handy. Everything was clean and to a high standard.

I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone going to Byron Bay and I would stay again. The one problem we did have was that it was a little chilly when we visited so I was quite cold when I went in the pool. Also in the early hours of the morning the birds like to be extremely loud, we experienced a loud magpie fight and turkey mating, which wasn't too relaxing. The other birds make nice noises, so it was fine.
