We just spent 5 fabulous days in Byron Bay at the Oasis Treetop Resort. Some family members stayed in a 2bedroom apt and others stayed in a 2 bedroom treehouse. Both were fantastic and well equipped, although you need to be quite fit to get up and down the many stairs in the treehouse. All members of the family loved the pool and BBQ area. The only tiny problem seemed to be Internet reception which was very patchy.
We will definitely return again to the Oasis.

My partner and two friends stayed for 2 nights in one of the self contained apartments at the Oasis and were very impressed with the facilities provided. Located about a 20min walk from Byron town centre the apartment was immaculate with everything needed (including bbq on the balcony) to make our stay memorable. A double room with ensuite and a room with 2 single beds and seperate toilet meant plenty of room for all staying. The kitchen has every utensil that you would require if eating in and washing machine/tumble dryer are also available. The resort has a good size pool, with sauna and tennis courts also available. An almost uninhabited beach is a short walk away although this is not patrolled with life guards so care should be taken. It's clear the owners are proud of their resort and this has resulted in a lovely complex that I would certainly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the Byron area.

We had a fantastic week at The Oasis Resort in a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment. It is such a lovely peaceful place and only a about a 5 minute walk to Tallow beach which is gorgeous and very quiet. The apartment was immaculate and extremely well equipped. We overlooked the pool from our balcony and enjoyed the morning sun there.Eloise was incredibly helpful and kind.Everyone in Reception was brilliant and able to give us useful information. We didn't have any transport and the resort was a little further out than we thought but you can walk into town in 25 minutes and get a cab back if necessary for 10 dollars.Even better you can walk along Tallow beach into town, which takes longer but is delightful. In the evening we were able to do a barbecue on the balcony after relaxing in the bubbles of the hot spa.WiFi was not always very strong but we could not recommend this place more highly. If we come back to Byron Bay I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Our third visit to the Oasis was even better than before. The gardens and pool area were looking gorgeous and the managers, Eloise and Damian, were as helpful and charming as ever. Had a great night at Francisco's pop up restaurant and rode into town on the resort's bikes a couple of times. Also did the ride to Suffolk Park. A special discovery was Seven Mile Beach - an amazing stretch of surf and sand with nobody else around. Had a wonderful picnic here. Will keep coming back to the Oasis. This place is a dead cert for a brilliant holiday.

Room Tip: We love the apartments. They are two-bedroom, so excellent value for money if you're travelling with another couple or kids.

Hi JoJo - and thank you for your review! We love welcoming back return guests and it's always great to hear they've enjoyed themselves here at Oasis, exploring Byron.

There are some many places to visit around Byron and Seven Mile Beach is a favourite (especially for picnics), along with discovering the hinterland including the lovely old pub at Eltham with it's excellent food, usually someone great playing on the guitar, views across the paddocks and 'time out' vibe.

Very best wishes from us all and we hope to see you all back again next year!

This townhouse was beautiful, over two levels with lots of room. Well fitted out and lots of little extras in the kitchen. We could see the whales passing from the living room and balcony. Our only problem was it's isolation. We had to use the car to go anywhere and with the traffic in Byron Bay during school holidays it was a nightmare.

Thank you for your review and it's nice to know you enjoyed Vue.

Vue was specifically designed to maximise all possible views while capturing the natural sea breezes, delivering a wonderful outlook where you can watch the ocean or be entertained by the bird life flying through from the parklands below. It's set in a tranquil space on the southern side of the lighthouse and even though it is with neighbouring homes, it has that advantage of ocean views versus being in the middle of town where they can be harder to find in accommodation.

Byron certainly can be busy in the school holidays - families and friends taking advantage of the break to spend time at the beach, exploring the hinterland, the shops and markets! Guests often find that cycling into the town hub on the bike path is a good option when the main road in and out of town is congested at peak times.

Best wishes for your future travels
