Booked two cottages for two couples for an overnight stay in Byron. The owners are really friendly and helpful and the cottages are very comfortable. Had to move the tv to view it from the sofa, but that was not a problem. Probably most surprised that beds were indeed "double" after getting either queen or king in all other hotels on our trip. Free parking was a bonus although Byron hotel prices are comparable to some of Sydney's. The pool and bbq areas are very comfortable and we enjoyed hanging out there when we arrived. We enjoyed being in the quiet area of Byron and Graham gave us a great tip to eat at Frankie Brown's, which we also enjoyed. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Would definitely book a cottage if you are staying a few days and want to have meals there. Very comfortable, nice tables outside and each cottage has parking in front.

We stayed in Sunseekers a few weeks ago, having decided that we wanted to be close to Byron Bay but not directly in the centre. Sunseekers was the perfect spot for us in this respect, very peaceful, relaxing and chilled. Lovely pool and sun bathing area, great BBQ facilities and a room that was very well equipped for us to do most of our own cooking! But thee best part about this place is the personal service and warm welcome from Deborah and Graham and their cat Ziggy! On hand and both Byron locals, they we able to give us great tips and advice on all the local hot spots which made our experience all the better! Would definitely recommend this place to other travellers & would most certainly return again in the future!!

Came to Byron for the first time, chose this place as it is tucked close enough to walk to the busy town centre but far enough so as you get a nice and quiet sleep.

We stayed on the 1st floor, motel is clean, good sized and has the basics. Host is so very friendly and welcomed us warmly.

For the price, standard of this accommodation is at the expected level. Good value.

We stayed with another couple in the busiest time of the year (27th Dec 2013 - 1st Jan 2014).
Myself and my husband had the ground floor and our friends were directly above us.

We all really enjoyed our stay here, and although we did pay a lot for a basic room, (due to last minute booking and time of year) it was worth it.

The owners Deborah & Graham are fantastic people, I couldn't speak more highly of them, they really made you feel warm and at home, if they spotted you around, they would often check to see if you were ok with everything or if you just need a good yarn.

The pool and BBQ area was the best, had more of a community vibe to it, not like a standard motel in at all. The black & white cat that hangs around, (pictured) has had one too many burgers in his day I think.

Speaking of animals, we saw a mating pair of lizards on the roof across from our friend's balcony (pictured) and someone was throwing raspberries up on the roof and the lizards were having a field day.

The motel location is about 1.6km from the Byron Bay shopping district, but I didn't mind the walk especially after eating out every lunch and dinner, you didn't feel quite as bad.

All in all, if we ever do go back, I would stay here again, but I would book a few months in advanced to get a better deal.

Room Tip: We had a ground floor room with a nice patio access to the pool area. If I ever go back, I wouldn't mind staying in the cottages.

Great place to stay, basic rooms but clean, pool and gardens were well kept. Best value in Byron.

Not a reflection on the Hotel but during our stay, my ATM card was skimmed which ruined the whole holiday. We were having so much fun we even considered staying another night.

Hotel is great. Watch your back in Byron, don't let the laid back lifestyle lull you into a false sense of security.

Room Tip: They are all good.
