First class and in an excellent location Byron Bathers is the perfect place to stay and relax.
Nothing left out, everything needed was on hand or available from the freindly, welcoming owners Sam and Paul. Easily equal in quality to a 5 star hotel, spacious and extremely comfortble.

Byron Bathers is a modern and spacious B&B that is very quiet due to it's location on a small lane just off the central street. We were greeted by Paul who was very charming, informative and unobtrusive. We stayed for 3 nights during the week and had the opportunity to view both rooms to choose our favorite. Both room were large, had their own outdoor patio, and boasted very spacious and modern bathrooms each having a large shower and jacuzzi tub.

The B&B has a lovely plunge pool and a beautifully landscaped and decorated outdoor (covered) patio area with plenty of seating to lounge around, take a nap, read a book, or have breakfast. The B&B is gated and designed in a manner so you feel like you're in a secluded oasis with no outside influences. Lots of amenities were provided including kitchenware, beach towels, a small beach tent, books, games, a DVD collection (the rooms have a large flat screen TV with DVD player), and free wi-fi Internet.

Breakfasts were easy and convenient. A tray of continental-style breakfast was left in the common fridge and we were free to enjoy breakfast whenever we wanted and wherever we wanted (usually in the patio by the pool). It usually consisted of muesli, yogurt, fruit, juice, and a different main item every day (muffins, panini, bagel, etc), and always left us full.

The location is perfect as it is one block away from the main street and a 5 minute walk to the main strip and the main beach. Being tucked away on a small street away from the pubs and restaurants meant that we enjoyed peaceful sleep (the beds were wonderfully comfortable) and a quiet stay.

Overall Byron Bathers is a paradise within the paradise that is Byron Bay, and we felt like it was our little secret B&B. Thank you Paul and Sam for a wonderful stay, and thanks to all the TripAdvisor reviews for recommending this gem.

Byron Bathers is centrally located within Byron Bay and is a smart well equipped boutique style bed and breakfast. The bedrooms are spacious as is the bathroom which has a large shower and a jacuzzi bath. They have thought of everything you may want e.g. towels for the pool / beach as well as a collapsible shade tent that you could take to the beach, a good selection of DVD's and CDs, books magazines and board games. Everything is spotlessly clean and the huge bed is very comfortable.

The kitchen area is colour co-ordinated for each room and everything is labelled with notes left everywhere which at first we found slightly odd but realised it was all part of the unobtrusive manner of hospitality.

Good standard continental breakfast is left in the fridge for you to eat whenever you like, Coffee and tea are available whenever you want.

Paul is an excellent host, knows the area well and gave us good advice regarding a walk to the lighthouse (worth doing) as well as information about restaurants.

Thank you for a lovely relaxed stay.

Our stay here was very comfortable and enjoyable, we were greeted by Paul and felt very welcome the moment we arrived. Everything is very professional and of a high standard. The decor is gorgeous and the bathroom is equivalent to a 5 star hotel. Excellent central location.

The best part of all was the king bed that felt like a cloud had dropped out of heaven and landed in our room. We had one of the best sleeps we've ever had while travelling!

Sam and Paul are both very gracious and lovely people, although our stay was brief on this occasion. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Congratulations and thank you Sam and Paul.

Love Natalie & Stuart

We decided to visit Byron Bay for a short two night break while on a family trip to the Gold Coast, less than an hour's drive to the North. We picked this B&B solely on the reviews on tripadvisor and we couldn't have been more impressed. The hosts, Sam and Paul couldn't have been more helpful yet they both gave you the space and privacy to enjoy your stay there.
The rooms were large, immaculately clean and had everything you could have wished for. The breakfast was amazing and very substantial. You could see the effort that went in to preparing them, even with the handwritten note describing the contents. Not finishing the breakfast due to the sheer volume even makes you feel a bit guilty!
The town centre is only a very short walk away although the location of Byron Bathers, off a side street, means you dont get the noise from traffic or the nightlife.
Would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering staying in Byron Bay, you won't be disappointed.

We stayed here for five nights recently. We are fussy and fastidious travelers who have traveled all over the world.

Part of us didn't want to write this review, as we just wanted to keep this fantastic place all to ourselves as our little secret. However, to do such a thing would be grossly unfair to the lovely husband and wife team that run this truly excellent bed and breakfast in beautiful Byron Bay.

The rooms are clean, modern and well appointed. Each has an LCD TV, split system air con, sleek ensuite, spa, wooden floorboards and a good bed. There is also a great communal swimming pool with surrounding gardens, kitchen and off street parking. The property is in the heart of Byron Town, but is on a quiet back street, so noise from cars or drunken backpackers is never an issue. In fact, the property was purpose designed and built as a bed and breakfast, so it actually has the feel of boutique hotel or upmarket guest house rather than a B&B.

The hosts are truly lovely. Warm but never intrusive. Very accommodating, helpful, friendly, with superb attention to detail in all they did. My fiance and I have some strict dietary requirements but they met them with ease. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a true highlight each morning. When we enquired about a delicious fruit (Achacha) they served us, they were kind enough to tape a hand written note on our door later that day outlining all the details of the fruit and where we could find it. When they realised we had a late return flight on our last day, they were gracious and generous enough to offer us a very late check out to make our stay that much more special.

In all, we were very impressed and wanted for nothing during our stay. We will definately be back!

This bed and breakfast was nothing like we expected. It was nothing less than outstanding. The house itself is purpose built and absolutely beautiful. The size and layout allows for privacy and space. There is a stunning outdoor area for reading, wining and long chats. We found this great when it rained because you can still enjoy the outdoors. It also made us feel like we were not contained to our room all the time. The room itself is perfect - Impeccably clean, large and contained everything you can think of (beach supplies, DVD collection, fruit bowl, iPod dock, wifi, two towels per person, showercap etc). In addition, Sam and Paul cleaned the room twice while we were there so thoroughly you could eat off the floor. They changed our sheets and towels twice in one week. They are wonderful hosts. Each morning you get a different breakfast that is almost impossible to finish. There is healthy fruit and yoghurt as the constant and then additions every morning. You are set for afternoon tea and snacks for the rest of the day. Sam and Paul are kind and friendly, letting you know they are available for anything you need, but at the same time they give you your space. They know Byron inside out and can give you lots of advice of where to go and what to do. The house has a wonderful location in the heart of Byron (in a quiet lane way) and five minutes from the beach. There is a car space for each room and we had a washing line. As a whole we felt well looked after, comfortable and relaxed the entire time we were there. This was by far the best accommodation, not only B and B, we have ever stayed at. We can't wait to return!

Room Tip: Both room are equally fantastic
