Fabulous hosts, absolutely comfortable and luxurious setting, breakfasts were amazing, very private. The bathroom was huge, great spa and shower, the bed was comfortable, lots of little luxuries to make your stay extra special. The hosts, Paul and Sam are just gorgeous and considerate people- would I stay here again? Definitely. Great location to walk to the Lighthouse to the Beach to Clarke's cafe. If you have a car, parking was not a problem.

We beach-hopped from Sydney to Brisbane staying overnight at the interesting beaches. The accomodation highlight was a one-horse race. Byron Bathers is the sort of place you dream of stumbling upon and then wanting to keep it a secret. How unfair. The rooms are like a 5 star hotel but in a more intimate setting because of the B&B nature and the outdoor guest lounges and pool setting. The touches Paul & Sam have added leave you wanting for nothing. If all accomodation was like this then everyone would travel more often. If we could we'd take Byron Bathers everywhere we travel. I recommend it to everyone. I heard a very discerning couple came here after Palazzo Versace and wished they'd spent longer at Byron Bathers. Not surprising.

Beautifully designed accommodation, with every little detail thought through for guest comfort. The overall effect is very simple and contemporary, pleasing on the eye and calming on the soul. Stylish bathrooms, huge and comfortable beds, good lighting. Best of all the beautiful outside area for exclusive use of guests, which we had more or less to ourselves and fully enjoyed, including the little pool. Breakfasts delicious with very personalised touches, and despite the fact that you are sharing the tea/coffee refreshment area with the other 2 rooms, the facilities there are great, with a big fridge for your own drinks etc and a microwave for basic meals if you don't want to eat out all the time .... although with so many excellent restaurants closeby, you certainly want to!
Its child-free accommodation, and with only 2 other rooms, its very quiet, despite central location. We slept like logs and after 3 nights, were refreshed and relaxed and wished we were staying longer. Hosts unobtrusive yet fell over backwards to be helpful when asked. Free wireless internet also much appreciated.

Only two suggestions to improve on what was near-perfect accommodation: better, stronger coffee, and perhaps bathrobes to complete the package - but these are minor indeed. We definitely recommend highly and hope to stay there again ... almost reluctant to pass on our views, as they are getting more and more referrals now - but they have worked hard and deserve praise. They have created an absolutely lovely place to stay.

7 night stay. February '09.
Very special location, very special hosts, very special accommodation. We had a great time, feel relaxed & pampered.
Magnificent bed, breakfasts & hospitality.
Quiet, private, tucked in the CBD. No car needed.
PADI Dive Shop two doors down. Husband in heaven!
Well done Trip Advisor's, another winner.

One of 22 hotels (including 5 star) and BB's that we stayed at during our 2 months in Australia. NOT second to any of these, and most were very good indeed. We will long remember our two nights at the home of Paul and Sam - who make you feel special and very welcome and nothing is too much trouble to them. They are generous in their hospitality and their attention to detail matches and generally surpasses anything we have encountered anywhere in the world. We had reserved room 3. Brilliant, with its own small outside shaded patio - where we enjoyed wonderfully thought out breakfasts. Excellent central position in Byron Bay but very quiet with easy, 2/3 min walk for dinner.
Our only regret - our 2 days stay was not enough.

We were hoping for a 1 bedroom apartment overlooking Main Beach, but when none was available for our dates, we tried Byron Bathers which proved a fabulous substitute. We were warmly greeted by Sam and Paul who did everythink possble to make our stay a relaxed and happy one. We enjoyed chatting to them and other guests staying at the B&B. Our room (room 1) was bright and cheerful with all the comforts of home and more. There was a choice of pillows, a king sized and extremely comfy bed, a great choice of videos etc and the most complete compendium I have ever seen. The location is brilliant for its proximity to the beach and town centre with its restaurants and shops. It was with sincere regret that we waved goodbye to Paul and Sam when it was time to leave, and we would recommend Byron Bathers to any travellers to Byron Bay.

Driving into Byron , I always feel like I am about to catch up with a really good old friend that I dont see nearly often enough. I wanted somewhere outstanding for this trip, as my wife and I were celebrating, and so took the good advice of fellow tripadvisor users (bless you all) and booked into Byron bathers. A brief glance at the place on arrival was enough to know that you guys had led me to yet another winner. Paul and Sam, the owners, have worked hard to create their masterpiece. Central location, yet serene and homely, healthy and tasty breakfasts, and rooms that surpass the (very high) standards of my interior designer wife! It was enough to make us quickly rebook our flights and extend our stay at BB by another 2 wonderful days. I am so pleased to have found such a great place to base ourselves for future trips, and spend time with my old friend Byron.
