Ordered a takeaway from Bombay to Byron after being recommended by a friend; unfortunately we were very disappointed with the quality of food and service.
After looking online at the surprisingly limited menu, we decided to ring the restaurant directly as we had a couple of questions; with one of us being a pescetarian we asked if we could order the vegetarian korma but pay extra for prawns to be added. We were told this would not be possible and that we would have to order the only prawn dish on the menu.
After agreeing to order the prawn dish (and a few other dishes), we were then told that the the prawn dish would be an extra $4 as the menu online had not been updated....however if we had ordered online we would still be charged the $4 less price?!
The food did arrive quickly, which was a positive; however, the garlic naan bread was very soggy and the prawn dish that we had been charged an extra $4 for (totaling $21.95 instead of $17.95 as priced online) was simply 4 prawns in a tasteless sauce - very disappointing.
The lamb rogan josh was average quality but the vegetable pakoras with sauce were enjoyable.
For a meal we paid $70 for we were really disappointed and Bombay to Byron just did not hit the spot for a good Indian takeaway.
