Food was average & slow. Room wasn't as advertised. Heater was noisy, door almost opened every time the wind blew. Bathroom had not been cleaned properly which is my biggest thing to look at in a hotel- hair from previous guest everywhere. Spa had a crack in it so they covered it with some foil which was glued down then put a dodgy mat to cover it which was dirty underneath.
Safe to say - never again.

We had our wedding here in the Herb Garden and reception in the Garden Pavilion on Saturday 21st June 2014 and it was MAGICAL & AMAZING! We can not express enough how great our day/night was. The staff were fantastic right from when we first booked, through to the menu tasting where we were treated so well and then onto our big day. The support was just 5 star and our day ran so smoothly right till the end. The service at our reception was so good and all of our guest commented on how great they were and the food..... The best in Sydney bar none. Our day will be treasured for many reasons but the way we were looked after made it even more special. The bridal suite is so beautiful and made for some magical photos. The fact we had everything all in the one venue was so good and convenient for ourselves and our guests. To Victoria, Wayne, Jarred, Chantelle and the rest of the staff at CVI, thank you for making our day as perfect as it was xx

we stayed here for two nights last weekend for a friends wedding. Room was large and comfortable, our food (limited number of meals) was nice, and the open fire in the hotel part very cosy. Only let down was poor organisation of our shuttle to the wedding venue, which was late to leave and did not arrive to pick us up until we phoned our friends to get some action. Nobody answers the reception phone after 8pm - pretty poor for such a venue. However worth a visit for the pub alone and it's only a short drive from Sydney.

Room Tip: Rooms at rear with country view are nice

Our room was large with two double beds, everything in good condition. On a previous stay the TV barely worked and this time was no better with severe pixelation. The view of the courtyard garden and swimming pool was wonderful with mist covering fields in the distance. The bar area had a real log fire providing a cozy experience. It's a pleasant place to stay and good value EXCEPT the food quality is pretty awful. A huge Chicken Parmagiana was placed on top of a mountain of chips which proceeded to become soggy - too much food made unpalatable. For breakfast, scrambled egg was laid on top of two doorstep thick white bread slices which must have barely been shown the toaster - more soggy unpalatable food. The bacon was cold and the tomato skin burnt. Quantity without quality - hopeless.

Room Tip: First floor rooms have nice view over rear courtyard
