Thank you Sonyia and Terry for an amazing anniversary night. Finally managing to get away it was wonderful to relax and feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too mUch trouble. The room and especially the view from our own private porch was so special, the only down side was that we couldn't stay longer. We will be back as soon as we can!

We recently had our wedding at Bush Bank (1 March 2013) and Sonya, Terry and their staff were absolutely wonderful!.

I stayed at Bush Bank with my family and bridesmaids the night before the wedding. Sonya and Terry welcomed us into their home like we were family, they were very attentive to our needs but did not impose in anyway and gave us privacy when we needed it. The rooms are at the front of the house and include the use of a little sitting room where we were able to have a glass of wine the night before and also get ready the day of the wedding.

All of the rooms are beautiful and have their own bathrooms.....the main bedroom has a balcony and lovely views over the property. The breakfast Sonya and Terry made us the next morning was delicious and huge!

I couldn't have asked for anything more in terms of the wedding. Sonya and Terry gave us the freedom to use their property to have our wedding exactly how we wanted it. They provided assistance when we needed it but didn't impose in any way. Our guests raved about the food, the location and the amazing hospitality. We changed our menu to cocktail a couple of weeks before the wedding and I was extremely hesitant at first as I was concerned that our guests would not have enough food.....but boy was I wrong to worry! The food was amazing and there was so much of it that the staff were turning around and going back to the kitchen because the guests were full!

Bush Bank is a beautiful property and our experience there was nothing short of amazing! I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone for either a bed and breakfast stay, wedding or any other occasion. You definitely won't be disappointed!

We had a most memorable visit to Bush Bank to witness a friend's son's wedding. What a fabulous location and the wedding reception was unequalled in our experience. We were invited back for breakfast the next morning and were able to inspect and experience the B & B. Just what anyone could look for, and excellent food and hospitality. Five STARS. (From an ex B & B operator!)

My husband and I spent 10 days in this beautifully-restored heritage house over Christmas 2012, and loved every minute of it. The owners made us feel very welcome and at home, and fed us breakfasts that were so good, and so huge, they should have been illegal! Little extras like a cookie jar in the guest lounge, and a glass or two of champagne in the evening, made us feel special.

Sonya and Terry are wonderful hosts, who are astute enough to know when you'd like company, or when you'd like to be left to do your own thing. Their recommendations on where to go and what to do were great, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them.

Our room and bathroom were spotless, and our king-sized bed made up with good-quality linen over one of the comfiest mattresses we've ever slept on. Our own private verandah was a
delight.

The property itself is lovely, just out of the township of Kiama on 5 acres with great views out over the ocean - we watched the Sydney-Hobart yacht race go past on Boxing Day, and saw some beautiful sunrises over the water.

With lots to do in the area - such as waterfalls, seven Mile beach, historic towns (full of interesting shops to browse) like Berry and Kangaroo Valley - we had a great get-away holiday, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bush Bank if you're looking for somewhere special only a few hours from Sydney.

Thanks, Sonya and Terry, for a great holiday. We''ll be back.

Room Tip: The Love's Bay suite has the best views, but all 3 rooms are good.

Me & my husband were treated by my mother-in-law and father-in-law to a mini-moon to bush bank.
We were overwhelmed by the service that we received. It was like coming home to a warm friendly family home. It was a beautiful place to stay, and the surroundings were lovely.
When it says bed & breakfast, it's not outlined enough in the reviews that the breakfasts are something alone to stay for!! Sonya and Terry do a wonderful job of making everyone feel welcome and comfy!
THANKYOU! Highly recommend!!!!

I was on a mission to find overnight accommodation and an appropriate place in Kiama to spread by father's ashes. I kept coming back to Bush Bank's web site for the accommodation!!! After speaking with Sonya and getting a special feel for the location the offer was made to find a spot on this 61.5 acre property to return my Dad to the area. It turns out that the dairy farm where my Dad spent his youth and young adult life was virtually next door to Bush Bank! How perfect was this place for us to stay on this occasion! Our arrival coincided with the departure of the week-end wedding party and yet Sonya had our room made up and ready. We arrived with old family friends who were invited for afternoon tea after our tree planting. How generous and thoughtful was that???!!!!

Every part of this property is immaculate, welcoming, comfortable and the little thoughtful extras in the bathroom were appreciated. Sonya and Terry have done a superb job restoring this lovely old house.

They gave us great dinner suggestions and we ended up at the Boat Fisherman's Club at Gerroa. You can sit in comfort on the mezzanine level and watch the day fade, (see the occasional whale) and enjoy the best fish n chips and seafood with a bottle of wine in a pleasant environment whilst looking at a magnificent view.

Back at Bush Bank we fell into the most comfortable bed and then the next morning refreshed, we enjoyed Sonya's special family receipe breakfast dish. We do recommend you try it!

Venues such as this, are created by business owners like Sonya and Terry who have vision and work tirelessly. They deserve credit for their achievements and supportbecause their contribution to brings tourism and casual employment - all extremely good for the local economy.

This is a great location with exceptional hospitality and extremely comfortable facilities. We arrived as strangers and will return as friends...we have to see how that tree is growing!! Thank you Sonya and Terry.
