“Nice spot but very costly”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014 via mobile

This park is in a beautiful spot right on the beach but you pay for that luxury, at $270 for the night I thought it was very overpriced compared to other Big 4's also in beach locations, this was approx $100 more for the night for no extra value. At that price I would expect a little more for my money.

Hi Matt and Mandy,

Easts Beach is definately in a beautiful spot on the South Coast. Management endeavours to provide an array of various accommodations to suit all budgets.

Extremely large and spacious park but having such rude staff really puts me off from ever going there again. Will actively tell friends and family to never go to this park. Been to many great big4 parks in the past but the staff here was absolutely rude. Certainly NOT big4 standard. Will directly complain to big4 too. We were accused of being loud and making noise at a time when we were sleeping. We weren't even asked if we caused the noise or if we think it was someone else. We were accused without solid evidence. If you want a better experience for your next holiday, DONT GO HERE.

My husband and I stayed here for a week-end in June in a Ensuite Cabin. Although the cabin was old, we found it very comfortable and only a few steps from the beach. We were very happy with the facilities and even though it was a freezing cold, wet week-end, we enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was a problem for them. I had breakfast in the Kiosk which was delicious and the kitchen was very clean as were all the facilities.
The train line runs along 1 side of the park in the camping section which was a little bit noisy (we had family camping there and we dined with at their campsite). The grounds are very nicely kept, but the 1 thing that concerned us was the un-fenced creeks running through the park. We had 2 grandchildren (2 years & 15 months old) camping. We could not take our eyes off them for fear that they might find their way to the creeks.
The facilities for families is excellent.

Room Tip: This is a caravan park - not a hotel. Great for families.

One of the largest and certainly organised caravan parks to visit. We were in a tent (sadly a declining breed) and the reception were lovely to find us a good spot out of the wind. Find time to take a walk out on the rocks or up the cliff to watch the water. Easts definitely had lots to offer and caters to all. One star down because of no jug in the camp kitchen (it was quiet so likely the reason)

Good Afternoon,

It is wonderful that you had a lovely time during your visit to our park. The park owners, together with their staff take great pride in providing exceptional customer service. We are very lucky at Easts beach to be located on such a pristine part of the coast, and to be able to enjoy the wonderful walks along the coast that are available.

Look forward to your return to our park.

Lots of ++++++'s
Clean
Nice towels (according to the wife!)
Just by East's beach
Perfect for the kids - bike riding - scooters - beach walks - BBQ - pool! Tennis. relaxing!!

It was blowing a gale when we arrived at 5pm but the aircon / heating quickly warmed us up.

Next morning the wind had died down and whilst chilly it was great to be outside in the sun.

We hardly saw the kids all day... They loved it - perfect with activities all day. Played some tennis too.

It is not luxurious but perfect for that few days away to get the kids out the house and somewhere different.

Thinking a good summer break place as long as they don't put up the prices too much. Our cabin that slept 5 was about $250 a night, pretty reasonable for 5 of us (3kids)

Enjoy..

We stayed in a "Norfolk" Cabin at this Park - good value but not easily found on any of the usual websites. However we received a price and description by calling the park directly.

The cabin was spacious and modern (and less than a year old) - and its newness was reflected in a lot of quality inclusions that are increasingly common in today's cabins. We had no complaints or issues at all with the cabin and its layout.

And further, the holiday park itself is excellent, with a great pool area, immaculate camp kitchen BBQ areas, and many other family-oriented facilities all around the park. It is not right in town, but its location on a small (almost private) beach, and the facilities it provides, more than make up for the 2km drive into Kiama central.

This park is certainly recommended - and the Norfolk Cabin was very good.

Room Tip: Norfolk Cabin was good value - need to ask for it however.

I haven't actually stayed at this park but we live quite close by and I can say that Kiama is a very vibrant place to visit there is always something going on there and the people are very friendly. The beaches are great and the blowhole is also a good thing to see especially when it is working on a windy day. They also have markets at blacks beach once a month and they are also very good and also a product market where you can buy local produce as well as more from further in the countryside. We love spending time in Kiama
