Im pretty easy going but this is not a boutique motel !!

- 4 nights in this place - very dissapointing

-VIEW IS NOT WORTH IT !! (way over priced - should have been round the $80 pn mark)

- Extremely dated with a capital E !!.... I have never stayed in such an old dated motel with damaged walls, old doors hard to close doors, leaky old showers & basins

-Old peeling walls - No built in anything !! -cheap clothes racks from bargain store

-Smells like an old nursing home mixed with cleaning products (was quite vial)

-furnishings including pics are CHEAP from the bargain store

-could not open curtains as football oval right there with people looking into my room

-Screaming people & children playing football (and loud music from football goers)

-No phone in room - Tiny TV
-Heater barely worked (had to press button ten times each time to get it going)

-Could not believe it ..I was by myself and felt a bit scared to be honest (as it was so run down and exposed)

-Very few positives....

-Cleaners did service room to their best ability (given the state of it)
-Linen was ok and bed was quite comfy (although blankets and cushions from cheapo bogan bargain store were hilarious

-did provide bar fridge, toaster & microwave (all sitting on the cheapo wire clothes rack from bargain store lol

-some cups etc but ...(I drank out of a glass and it had some bad coating in it urrrgh)

-overall a really yukky and noisy eery place to stay !!

-NEEDS A DAMN GOOD RENO and people need to be warned about the noisy footballers...

Room Tip: Just dont stay here unless you are desperate or just dont care about where you stay !

We were impressed with the quality considering we had the cheapest budget room. The room was clean and big, with a heater and TV. The towels were huge and perfectly white. The bed was comfortable. No complaints, great location near the beach. And no issues with check in or check out.

Was an easy and pleasant stay.

I agree with the other reviews here. Linen was superb. Place is dated and could do with a refit especially the bathroom as its quite dated. I would describe it as cheerful. We had a room upstairs and the bride was happy with the views of the surf.

Room Tip: Upstairs had a great view of the surf

The room was clean and average size. The bed was comfortable and had good quality sheets, Large usable towels were supplied. The view was excellent and the location was close to the main street and Blow Hole (main attraction). Overall a nice place to stay.

I recently booked for a three night stay at this motel and certainly would recommend it ONLY on its location . Great!
As for cleanliness - if you can live with windowsill covered in black mould,, dusty surfaces and the lack of floor cleaning over the three days, then, good luck to you.
Next consideration Service - very poor. After first night came back to beds not made, crumbs still on carpet and bathroom floor showing hair and evidence of occupation, not to mention the area between the shower and the vanity! - this is not a cheap motel but 'boutique' remember ! Second day , supplies not replenished , floors still in same state !
Also your credit card is charged for half the cost when you book and the rest is charged when you arrive - not at the end of your stay!.
Perhaps the 'boutique' referred to the brown furniture - nothing built in here - oval glass topped table and round glass topped bedside tables. No enclosed handing space just a galvanised hook on the wall along with the ironing board also hanging on the wall.
Sorry not even the location saved this one. If I want to see and hear the ocean I will try a cabin at the caravan park, probably better!

The location is great - beach views, the sound of crashing surf and very close to town and to Kiama Station. Yes the motel is a little aged, and not perfect, but my room is pretty ok. I forked out extra for a balcony room, which is recommended. The carpet is new, king size bed is comfy and sheets and pillows are fine. The bathroom is basic but clean. Whilst the furniture is a bit of a hotch-potch, it's all reasonably new and in good shape. All in all, this place is good but not fancy. Decent value for the great location.

I Recently stayed over at this establishment and found it very disappointing.our room overlooked an on going renovation site within the perimeters of the motel.. Consequently our much hoped for quiet retreat was both noisy and closely monitored by workmen .. It was impossible to enjoy the balcony views to the ocean as the deafening noises from machinery were unrelenting. At $150/ night I felt that customers who had pre- booked should have had the curtesy of a phone call informing them that the renovations were in progress. The descriptions of the motel supplied on the motels booking information sites led us to think that this was a somewhat charming boutique hotel.. However,in reality it proved to be a tired and uninspiring motel.. The bathrooms in particular were fluorescent lit and accompanied by an extractor fan noise that was so loud that it woke my partner with a jolt when I accessed the bathroom in the middle of the night! Yes...over-rated and over-priced.
