“Fabulous stay once again!”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

This was our 2nd stay at Peppers Kingscliff and we have already booked for another stay in a few weeks time. The resort is just beautiful. It's not far from the Gold Coast, yet when you arrive it feels worlds away. It's so peaceful and quiet. Perfect for a relaxing weekend. We've stayed in one of their hotel rooms before and couldn't fault it, but this time we chose to stay in a 1 bedroom spa apartment. It was perfect. It was spacious and open plan, but with sliding doors so that you could close off sections. It had everything we needed for our stay including cooking facilities (although we chose to eat out at the local restaurants). The apartment even has a coffee pod machine which was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The spa bath was large and deep allowing for relaxing bathing. The furnishings were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable and came with an array of pillows. As before, everything was spotlessly clean. On our arrival we found that our kettle wasn't working, we rang the concierge and a brand new one was brought to our room very quickly. We had a large balcony overlooking the pool with table and chairs and even a sunlounge. With free in room movies which had a number of recent releases, our own supply of good reading and the coffee machine in room, we had a very relaxing time once again. Already looking forward to our next stay.

Room Tip: Rooms above the function rooms can be noisy if a function is on.

The last time I stayed at this resort was a few years ago thought it was great then. Saw a great deal on wotif for a 2 night stay wow the 1 bedrooms with spa are so spacious comfortable furniture great beds and considering its a few years old now the rooms are still like they just opened and the cleanliness is second to none. Breakfast is good as u would get anywhere. For dinner seasons there own restaurant or try Fins in the salt complex. Beach is only a 5 min walk and they have a great pool area. A great place to get away from it all

So beautiful, modern facilities. Pools everywhere you go, beside the lagoon pool and other large tropical pool there are plunge pools everywhere. Luxury poolside furniture. Cocktails while swimming. Salt beach 2 mins walk away. Rooms so modern, lots of pillows, huge bed, balcony with great views. Free breakfast, which is amazing, everything you could imagine is in the array of food, fruits, cereals, eggs in many ways, toast, bacon, snags, pastries. Wow. What a place, can't wait to go back. It was our wedding present and as I mentioned this while booking there was also free champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room. Couldn't ask for more!

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view room if you can, although all rooms have a great location and you most likely wo...

It is the first time my wife and I have stayed at a Peppers Resort, but it will not be the last. We booked a one bedroom spa room and it was spacious, had all the facilities you could wish for and was spotlessly clean. We had a private balcony over looking the resort's pool which was an excellent spot to relax. With breakfast and parking included in the tariff it was good value.
The full buffet breakfast was excellent, served in a very nice restaurant. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The only downside could be noise if the Hotel was very busy. We were there during a quite period and due to the design of the building you could still here people down in the reception/cafe area.

Room Tip: As none of the rooms has a beach or ocean view, the ones overlooking the pool area would be our reco...

Like many beachside locations a good holiday at Kingscliffe relies on good weather , and at our recent stay at Peppers we had it in bucket loads. The resort was better than we remembered from several years earlier, and is an ideal spot for a short "recharge" or business conference. The grounds are well maintained and the Lagoon Pool a very picturesque setting. The food and service also to a high standard with great underground parking. The adjoining beach, in the right weather, is gorgeous beyond belief, and the Salt retail precinct opposite offers a good selection of alternate eateries including the pub, which caters well for families. Great spot for singles, couples or families. Be sure to use the bike hire available from reception, with very user friendly cycle tracks within 150 metres of the hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking either of the two pools would be my first choice

We had booked Peppers Salt for a short babymoon get away in Kingscliff. Everything about the hotel really made our day. We got a free upgrade to a one bedroom spa apartment which was modern, spacious, clean and very appointed. Great facilities included free parking, wifi and in room movies. The hotel graciously didn't charge for the two coffees we had from the espresso machine in the room (and yes there was decaf!). There's not a whole lot to do or see in Kingscliff so Peppers are doing everything right with all the necessary inclusions in their rates. The only niggling thing for me was the breakfast - although a lot of variety is offered and quality was good it was the same things everyday , the menu could rotate around a bit particularly with the hot food options. Oh and the Tropical pool was freezing cold despite the hotel stating in their in room brochure that the pool is heated!

Dear eatliveplay

Thank you for letting us know how much you enjoyed your babymoon at Peppers - we are thrilled to be a part of your celebration.

We are pleased you enjoyed the free inclusions that are standard in all of our accommodation packages and that you appreciated the spaciousness of your suite - they are beautifully designed and the amentiies and fixtures chosen carefully with our guests in mind.

Thank you for your feedback, both postiive and constructive, on breakfast this has been passed on to our Food and Beverage Manager. The tropical pool was heated at this time of year, however we hear your comments and will discuss with our maintenance team.

Good luck with this exciting new phase of your life and we look forward to welcoming you back for a family holiday shortly!

Kind regards
