My husband and I stayed in the Beaver Creek Cabin for two nights. It was a much needed escape from the big city. The cabin is located in a quiet nook of a neighborhood. The interior was charming and authentic. It was very clean, but the bathroom had an overwhelming moldy smell. The bed was so soft and comfortable. The only other downfall was the spiders!! Each day we were killing many, many spiders. I know it's the woods, but it's a bit disconcerting to try and relax with the fear of another spider crawling on my leg. That being said, the little creatures still didn't stop us from enjoying a fire each night and lots of relaxation. Warning to tall people, the ceilings and doorways are very low. My husband is 6 feet and there were spots in the cabin where he could not stand up straight.
FYI: The websites boasts fresh breakfast baskets that include quiche, pastries, and fresh fruit. We did not get that--instead it was a selection of generic instant oatmeal, small yogurts, a clear container of granola, packets of sugar-free hot chocolate, and generic O.J. bottles. Definitely not worth an extra $16 a day. We returned them to the front desk at the restaurant and were refunded immediately, but it was still very disappointing.
