“A Magic Sunday”

We were lucky enough to be visiting Magic Mountain on their 30th Birthday celebrations, and what a day we had. Whilst the weather was a bit variable, the fun did not stop and the kids are still talking about the toboggan, roller coaster and the water slides. A brilliant day of fun in Merimbula, that won't break the holiday budget. A must do!!!

“Loads of Magic Mountain fun”
Reviewed 15 November 2013

We went at a perfect time, out of peak season. No crowds and we got to go on all the rides without any waiting. And they were super fun. Kids loved it, although for infants(we have a two yr old) very limited and not a lot for them. Venue was immaculate. A little pricey but we did get our monies worth. Don't go expecting a QLD theme park, it's not that kind of place.

“Re-live your childhood at Magic Mountain”
Reviewed 29 October 2013

Magic Mountain!! We had a blast! At the moment Magic Mountain is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00am. You can pack a picnic or eat from the kiosk. If you don't want to go on any rides it's free entry into the park. They have a little playground for the kiddies - you can have a really great day for nothing!

We paid for the Unlimited ride pack (a child under 6 and 2 adults). All up it cost $110 which may seem a little steep to some but if you pay for rides individually it's $7. You get a great bargain paying for unlimited especially if everybody is going to hop on the rides.

The magic carpet ride was terrifying at the top but SO MUCH FUN!!!
We had a ball racing on the go karts and riding the toboggan ride.

The kids had a ball on the Jumping Castle. Remember to pack your sunscreen though - whilst there's shade around you still manage to get burnt!

We paid $10 to hire a locker so we could store our bags when we went on the rides. I would defintely recommend doing this as there are no storage facilities at the ride sites.

Magic Mountain - a great day for all!

“I doubt we will ever go here again”
Reviewed 25 October 2013 via mobile

Way too overpriced. Short staffed. Some of the rides are on a schedule. The staff were not friendly. The toboggan ride was too slow. The rides close down 1/2 an hour before the place closes down. And this was all on a not too busy day in the school holidays. Disappointed. But the rides that the kids did have a chance to enjoy, they loved it. So all in all, a nice day out but would not go back again. Sorry, you need more staff on the rides to make the fun continuous and worth what you pay for it.

Dear Silvana A,
Thank you for your feedback. Yes, you are correct. During quiet times, some rides do run in alternate sessions. It is unusual for this to disadvantage visitors, as you are unable to enjoy more than one ride at once, however we regret that you were disappointed. Similarly, we receive excellent feedback in relation to staff and their friendly approach. We regret this was not your experience on this occasion. We are pleased that on balance, you had a nice day out. Thank you for your comments, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

“Good value”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

Did not expect too much but was pleasantly surprised how good the place was. Especially when entry was free you just pay for the rides. The picnic facilities were excellent and the food outlets were good as well. If you have kids it's a great place to keep them occupied. Only one warning the Kookaburras will steal your sausages if you don't watch them.
