“absolutely stunning”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

We ate at St Isidores for lunch on a sunny winters day. We sat looking out at the veggie gardens and chooks and had some of the most beautiful food I have eaten for a long time.
The food is so pure and simple, but just blows you away with its flavours. Perhaps the most memorable dish was a saganaki, or fried cheese, served with quince paste and resting on vine leaves. So few ingredients but just the most incredible flavours. The sashimi of kingfish with crab was beautiful to look at and a great dish to eat - with the sweet flavour of the crab really prominent. Before dessert, we took a walk around the gardens and I then had a lovely steamed citrus pudding - having just walked past the citrus trees laden with fruit. If you are lucky enough to live in the area St Isidore's is a must visit, and for us it was the highlight of our trip to the area.

“Outstanding”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

This was my first visit to St Isidore's and I was very impressed. Unfortunately we could not see their local garden at night but I understand much of their produce is sourced from it. There were 5 of us including 2 vegetarians. The menu for everyone was extensive and the vegetarian selections excellent. The service could not be faulted and we will all certainly return when we revisit the area.

It wasn't cheap, but the food was outstanding, as was the service, the decor, the view, etc. Perfect place for special occasions. I can't wait to go back.
