We stayed one night attending a wedding. The initial email contact was professional and efficient, no problems. The hotel room was clean and tidy with all the basic essentials. The management was friendly and professional and the check in was hassle free. Would recommend for a short holiday or overnight stay as the hotel is opposite the golf club and beach, with plenty of local attractions.

If you want nice clean accommodation this will appeal to you. Walked in and got a room at a reasonable rate. Management very nice and helpful. Opposite golf club / course and right at beach. Only draw back if people are walking past your door it is very loud if they are talking.

My wife and I spent one night at Mollymook Shores in May 2012. We had originally booked a Standard Room at $110 but were advised that there was only one such room available close to reception and guest entry, and that it would not meet our request for "a room in a quiet location". We inquired about alternative accommodation and were offered a two room suite in a quiet location at only $135. We found this room to be very well equipped and very clean. The lounge was comfortable and the picture and sound from the flatscreen television was excellent. Mollymook Shores is located only a stone's throw from the beach, and the view from our room of Mollymook beach was spectacular. The only disadvantage to Mollymook is the appalling rutted and potholed state of some of the bitumen roads in the vicinity of this motel. We were warned to avoid returning to the Princes Highway via Ocean Street and foolishly ignored the warning. The bitumen road resembled a ploughed field at the point where Ocean Street rejoined the highway, and careful driving is required at this point. Obviously, the shire council has other things on which to spend its rate money. We were advised to dine at nearby Milton rather than nearby Ulladulla, and were not disappointed by the quality of Milton restaurants.

Room Tip: Choose a room well away from reception and guest entry

We stayed 2 nights in a 'standard room'. I give them big, big ticks for: 1. efficient and early servicing of room; 2. generous table and bench space in bedroom/sitting room; 3. good room size; 4. spotless large windows, in spite of the daily sea mist; 5. clean bathroom with freshly cleaned (or brand new?) shower curtain and 6. extremely quiet air conditioning which still gave out strong heat.

A few tiny demerit points though for dirty area behind bathroom door and very grubby interior door frame and wall at the room's entrance door.

Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming.

It's a good place to stay.

I stayed here with a business colleague for an overnight stay. As we were on the corporaterate I did'nt expect too much, but I was surprised by the level of service we recieved. We were upgraded to ocean facing spa suites we allowed us to step outside on a small patio and enjoy the views of the pacific ocean. In an ideal location opposite the beach and the Golf Club this hotel is a great place for a break on the way up or down the highway.
We had dinner across the road at the Golf Club , which has a wonderful bistro, but the hotel also has its own restaurant.
Our breakfast arrived on time and was of high quality and I would reccomend anyone looking for accomadation in the area to consider The Mollymook Shores.
I will definately stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms 105 and 106 are ground floor spa suites.

Spent two nights here with friends. Unit 214, quite spacious in the lounge, dining and kitchen area and one bedroom, which had 3 single beds in it. The other bedroom was quite small, with just room to move around the bottom and one side of the bed, with emough room to put our suitcases on the floor on the other side. The unit was the last in the block and was on the corner. Even though there is a lot of trees around the unit, the noise from the traffic coming from further up the beach was quite loud, even with the window shut. Traffic started flowing passed from 6AM onwards. So if you are looking for a lazy sleep-in, I would make sure I got a unit further down opposite the beach (on the one-way road side). The view across the road, was of the golf course restaurant. If we moved the chairs up outside the second bedroom, we had a slight view of the ocean.
The staff on the other hand were great. Efficient, chatty, bought some milk up to the unit.
Unit was nice and close for walks along the beach in either direction.
We did use the kitchen to prepare dinner and there was plenty of cutlery, glasses and plates. Bathroom was nice and clean, with the shower over the bath. Towels were clean and soft.
All in all, a nice place, except for the road noise and only a small view of the ocean.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for a unit overlooking the beach.
