“Honeymooners”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 November 2013

We decided to check out the Fleet Air Arm Museum as part of our Honeymoon road trip. The museum is fantastic, loved getting a look into history. There are plenty of information on all the planes on exhibit. The gift shop was great for presents for those back at home, especially a 10 year old family member who is very knowledgeable about aircraft and loved seeing our photos!

“Fleet Air Arm Museum at Nowra”

Terrific historical content, lots of old planes and their stories. Even the kids like looking around, there's a nice cafe upstairs, and plenty of outside space for kids to run around in.

“Fantastic look into Australia's naval air history”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 March 2013

Lots of the real flying machines lined up with short explanations of their role and importance. Knowledgeable staff willing to give their time. Would have been great to have the café open.

“Good Visit for Aviation Enthusiasts”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2013

The Fleet Air Arm Museum is located near Nowra, not far from Bateman's Bay.

For a $10 admission fee, you get access to a number of static exhibits of aircraft from WWI to the present. The site includes an active Air Force Base, and you will likely see military take-offs/landings during your visit.

There are lots of displays of naval aircraft, and it is well worth a side trip.
