“The place to stay in Nyngan”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 June 2013

Located in the old Westpac bank manager's residence, this accommodation is spacious and well appointed. While the bathroom facilities are shared, there are 2 showers, etc for 4 rooms, so it's almost your own bathroom. The place was clean and well located on the main street.

Stayed overnight on our way to Broken Hill and on our way back to Sydney again. Richard is just a lovely host, emailed me travelling instructions from Sydney for the quickest route. The rooms are large and spacious and very well appointed, warm and comfortable. I travelled with my son and another lady with her son, we had the run of the kitchen, well stocked with breakfast foods and drinks and to help ourselves to anything. Highly recommended and I would stop there again if ever travelling out that way

Room Tip: I stayed in the Global Traveller room which is the biggest and the other 3 are similar sizes, about...

Rolling in to Nyngan on a Sunday night we were delighted to find the bean counter B and B. it has shared facilities but these were beautifully renovated and our room was delightful. Continental breakfast was more than expected. Richard was a very welcoming host recommending some lovely spots around Nyngan to see

I usually stay in the local motel in Nyngan, however, saw this on Tripadvisor and took a chance. It was a pleasant surprise. Its an old world style of re-furbished office rooms over the old Westpac Bank. The rooms are very tastefully decorated in a mix of old style and modern fittings. The global traveller room was very nice and was the largest room and had a large (shared), balcony overlooking the street. It was nicely air conditioned on a hot day, and the bathroom (shared), was clean and new. The shared facilities was no problem, and I was actually the only occupant that night, so I had the run of the place to myself.

The bed was comfy and clean and well arranged, and it had a big TV. The parking is street parking, but its right out front, and Nyngan is no problem. Its close to the RSL and a supermarket, and the people booking the place (in the ground floor of the old bank), and the rest of the townsfolk were pleasant and friendly.

I would happily stay here on my next visit to Nyngan.

Room Tip: Global traveller is the largest, but the others are a decent size for singles

We stayed here on the way to Broken Hill. We were pleasantly surprised. Did not expect such a comfortable and well furnished place in Nyngan. Situated right in the middle of town. Went to the RSL for dinner and they make a decent steak. The non ensuite could have been a bit of an issue, but there was only 1 other couple that night, so we each had 'exclusive' use of one bathroom. Free wifi, kitchen with decent tea/coffee, biscuits, and make your own breakfast. Lovely garden area to sit in. Met the caretakers when we arrived and had a chat. Very friendly and welcoming.

Our stay was a one night stop which we booked at the last minute. Located above the NAB right in the middle of the main street it was easy to find. We had the pick of the 4 rooms being the only guests that night and selected the largest room although they were all nicely decorated. There are two bathrooms to be shared, both clean and modern. Robes are supplied which makes using shared facilities easier. There is a kitchen on the ground floor with tea, coffee, biscuits and light breakfast provisions. All in all good value and a nice place to stay.

Room Tip: The Global Traveller room is the largest, this and the Paddington room both have access to the guest...
