We stayed here while on a road trip through country NSW. Having been to Dubbo zoo, this was the ideal location to stay for the night because once the zoo closed we could make some ground towards 'The Dish' without having to double back from Parkes the next morning.
I was looking forward to reliving childhood memories of overnight motel stops, and this place put a smile on my face. The hosts were friendly and brought fresh milk to our room on arrival, which was large and air conditioned.
Some of the unexpected delights were car washing equipment (which I was very thankful for), biscuits in the cupboard and TV with excellent reception. While the room itself was very clean, we did get many bugs when night fell, but happily there was even flyspray provided in the cupboard.
We went to the Chinese bistro at the club down the road for dinner, and it was exceptional!More
