“Great spot for a romantic getaway”
Reviewed 20 October 2013

This was my 3rd visit to Dreamcatcher, each time it gets better and better. It was only a hours drive from sydney and was very peaceful once there. Its a great place to relax or there are loads of activities to do in the surrounding Picton area. The hosts were very welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. We had a great time making our own pizzas and watching them sizzle in the wood fire oven. Breakfast of poached eggs and spinach baked was also quite a creative and tasty combo, but the best part was enjoying it over the wonderful view of the valley. If you like wildlife you can feed the goats and lama plus there is a very colourful peacock that lives there! Wonderful place for a romantic getaway, give it go!

This is our 3rd visit to Dreamcather lodge. We first met Greg and Kathy via Greg's in house cheese making course. We had such a great time that we organised a weekend with 2 other couples incorporating a bread making course. It was a hoot, had so much fun and great food. We recently had our 3rd return which was a weekend with Kathy and Greg to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday. We had 4 generations there with great grandmother, grandmother (me), daughter and grand daughter. We all made cheese and mascarpone, and also made sour dough pizzas which were cooked in a wood fired oven. Greg and our granddaughter fed the goats and the alpaca and Percy the peacock was ever present. There were 10 of us there, with some in the main house and some in the Blue Wren cottage. It was such a great weekend, we were made to feel like family. It was a shame we had to leave. Great place, great value and great people

Kathy and Greg have been wonderful hosts.

Woodfire pizza (we made them ourselves) and desserts really lovely. Breakfast delicious (poached eggs with dukka, and French toast).

Amazing way to spend my 30th!!!

We stayed at the Dreamcatcher Lodge for 2 nights as part of a hot air ballooning package. We would go back just to stay there without hesitation. We stayed in the Blue Wren Cottage which is part of the lodge and allows for total privacy.
On arrival The owners Greg and Kathy provided us with a lovely afternoon tea of home baked banana bread and freshly made butter and jam. Trust me the food is worth the stay by its self! The breakfast are incredible and they offer a nice range of items to choose from. We also enjoyed all the farm animals around including a 1 week old goat that we got some photos with.

We had a long weekend here. The hosts made us feel as if we were old friends. We had a package including meals, massages and wine tour-all were great. We came back from our massage to find the spa bath in our room full of bubbles, candles lit, champagne on ice and a stand full of scones with jam & cream. It was heaven! The food was lovely, if you want privacy its available, if you want company its also there. The rooms are lovely, as is the property, we went home feeling we had, had a real holiday. The only negative was some road noise.
