Peaceful Palms B&B
Reviewed 16 May 2012

My friend and I really enjoyed our two night stay at Peaceful Palms. A bit like "home away from home" - the place you want to come back to. Peter and Kaye did more than expected to make us feel special, eg even posting something forgotten after we had left.

We absolutely loved our breakfast, and were glad we stayed for 2 nights so we could try something different! The sunsets over the nearby river are spectacular. We'll be back!

Terrific value for $$'s. Palm Room very spacious - especially as I was the only one there. Three beds all to my self. Had Poached eggs first morning and then could not miss them the next two mornings. Saw Bower Birds, Black Cockatoos, Honey eaters right from my balcony. I was in town for a family event and found this B&B very central and at the same time amazingly quiet. Kaye & Peter let me know about any events that were happening around town - really enjoyed the tin can boat race and the markets - down by the river, just a short walk around the block.

Nice enough, good value, B&B. Nice room, patio off room, lounge downstairs for guest use. Had a fridge downstairs available (standard size!) for guest use, too. The town wasn’t the most exciting stop of our stay, but it was in the right location for a night’s stay. Although their website didn’t mention internet, we were able to log on to their wireless.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. You must have stayed at many places during your month holiday. Yes, the town is quiet especially at night - some people like that.

Peter and Kaye have a pretty great setup where they are. Overlooking green fields, it's relaxing sitting on the balcony and just looking around. They were very friendly, welcoming, and they cook a great breakfast with a large selection to choose from. The rooms, including the ensuite are a good size and are comfortable, and for a fraction of the price of a hotel. Thankyou, We'll be back.

We stayed at this B&B over the Xmas 2011 break and where totally surprised from the time we walked in the door till the day we left. The Hosts are fantastic, the breakfasts are great (fresh & a varied menu) and the bedrooms/lcommon areas are spacious, comfortable and have a very relaxed atmosphere..... Each room has a private balcony which overlooks the lush garden (a home away from home)...The B&B is situated in a lovely part of Raymond Terrace and close to all amenities and makes it easy to get to any destination....... whether your having stop over or stay for a well deserved holiday/break.I thoroughly recommend this B&B
I will be back..........and will tell all my friends about this B&B gem
thanks for making us feel so welcome......... we left totally relaxed

Room Tip: Both Rooms are fantastic...... quiet and peaceful
