Peaceful Palms B&B
Reviewed 23 August 2012

We stayed at Peaceful Palms on 2/7/12, en route to the far north coast of NSW. Far superior to motel accommodation, and the quiet location and comfort were greatly appreciated. Kaye and Peter are very welcoming but unobtrusive hosts. Breakfast was fabulous, the facilities are spotless and spacious, and all in all we thoroughly recommend a stay there. We will certainly stay again when travelling north. Kate and Ian, Como NSW

Our overnight stay 3/8/2012 was a first B & D experience whilst touring Victoria & New South Wales. Our experience far exceeded our expectations & other over night motel accommodations during our 25 day trip. Great bed, linen & breakfast. We would recommend this accommodation to others & would stay there again if in the area. Chris & Russ, Wakerley, Brisbane

We stayed at Peaceful Palms for two nights while we were running a stall at the Tocal Agricultural Weekend and we really appreciated the quiet and the very comfortable room. The bed was perfect and the breakfast was superb. The owners Kaye and Peter were so helpful and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B, We where made to feel welcome and had fresh cookies on arrival. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. The room was clean and well kept and plenty enough space for us. There was a lounge downstairs for guest use with tea and coffee making facilities. We even got free wifi. Fantastic stay

My friend and I really enjoyed our two night stay at Peaceful Palms. A bit like "home away from home" - the place you want to come back to. Peter and Kaye did more than expected to make us feel special, eg even posting something forgotten after we had left.

We absolutely loved our breakfast, and were glad we stayed for 2 nights so we could try something different! The sunsets over the nearby river are spectacular. We'll be back!

Terrific value for $$'s. Palm Room very spacious - especially as I was the only one there. Three beds all to my self. Had Poached eggs first morning and then could not miss them the next two mornings. Saw Bower Birds, Black Cockatoos, Honey eaters right from my balcony. I was in town for a family event and found this B&B very central and at the same time amazingly quiet. Kaye & Peter let me know about any events that were happening around town - really enjoyed the tin can boat race and the markets - down by the river, just a short walk around the block.

Nice enough, good value, B&B. Nice room, patio off room, lounge downstairs for guest use. Had a fridge downstairs available (standard size!) for guest use, too. The town wasn’t the most exciting stop of our stay, but it was in the right location for a night’s stay. Although their website didn’t mention internet, we were able to log on to their wireless.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. You must have stayed at many places during your month holiday. Yes, the town is quiet especially at night - some people like that.
