Stayed here and as we were travelling up from sydney to Melbourne and its the only motel which did not offer free wi fi so we had to pay for it. Also had to go to the local restaurant for ice but otherwise the spa bedroom was spotless and had a great time

A very modern motel. Large rooms , well fitted out. Clean, with a very comfy bed. quiet at night. Two storey motel, with stairs at each end, so can be a long walk if upstairs. Parking is a bit limited, as some locals use parks during the day. Room price is about right on value for money basis. Minor complaint is miserly supply of shower gel. Just one 20 ml tube for two people. Just not enough, bit miserable considering the room charges are above average.
Would certainly return, with my own soap.

Thanks Bea for taking the time to provide us with this response, we appreciate all responses.
As for the parking, to be rated a 4 Star motel we need to have car spaces available for 75% or the rooms and with 22 rooms that equated to 16.5, we have 20, not to mention the one hundred or so just across the road. Sure other people use the park but that is between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm and we have never not had enough parking during the day time.
As for the soaps, there is one 20ml tube as mentioned plus 2 bars of soaps as recommended by our authority. You are a little contradictory when it comes to pricing, saying "we are right on value for money basis" but "miserly considering the room charges are above average", think we'll just go with the first quote. And by the way, there is never any need to "bring your soap" we will always be more that happy to provide extras.
Hope to see you again soon

We arrived on a Saturday, having pre booked and paid a week before. Once at reception there was no booking made, despite having an emailed confirmation printout. Luckily there was a room vacant. Upon opening the unit door, we were overwhelmed by the smell of candy flavoured air freshener or cleaning product. They must think the more it smells, the cleaner it must be!
After returning from dinner we settled down to sleep.. I turned the air conditioner off and we went to sleep. About 2.00am I woke to what sounded like a shower running from the room above. That was OK, the noise stopped. Then it started again a couple of minutes later, went for 5 minutes and stopped again. OK, I thought they've had their shower, now I can doze off. How wrong I was, this noise kept happening. My wife awoke and we both laid there staring at the ceiling for hours. It turns out the noise emanated from the air conditioner, even though it was off! The fluid in the pipes must circulate on a timer whether on or off. Damn infuriating. We couldn't wait for the sunrise and got the hell out of there.

We just spent 5 nights in a spa suite. The spa is huge and the shower is perfect with no shower screens or curtains makes for a nice change with the large bathroom. Rooms are large and clean, nice and quiet and very close to all the shops in the village.

Would stay there again.

Spent two nights at the motel in a Spa Suite, very nice room with a seperate lounge area. The room was nicely furnished & decorated, a lack of table & chairs as the standard rooms had would have been great, also the room had a srong smell of air freshner. Staff were all very friendly and helpfull. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants, with a great thai restaurant on the next door, only bad points were a lack of parking spots & at $200 a night a little bit pricey for a motel room.

We stayed 3 nights here. Great location within walking distance of cafe's and restaurants,
Immaculately clean and spacious rooms. Host was extemely friendly. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for well priced accommodation in Shellharbour. There is a cafe/bakery withihn 1 minute walk which was great for morning coffee and breakfast. Would also suggest having a meal at the Shellharbour Club which is under a 5 minute drive.

We stayed two nights over Christmas in an upstairs room. We booked the motel only as a place to sleep, due to limited space at the family's Christmas venue. The proprietor made us welcome and their (understandably) limited service on Christmas Day was clearly explained.

The motel appeared to be fully booked but it was very quiet. Our room was spacious, light and well maintained, with the usual range of toiletries and so on provided. The quality of the bed and of Christmas dinner meant we slept very well.

Recommended.
