About 2 Weeks in advance should do it! if you wish to get into this popular, well situated Motor Inn in Singleton NSW.
Frequented by mining types, tourists and travellers, it offers big clean well appointed rooms (recently refurbished) with comfortable beds and a good shower - Need I say more..
The dining room was doing good business during my visit, with a menu to suit most. THe hardened steak/chips & beer guys go to the hotel over the road for the excellent and affordable pub-grub. Safe and social.
Breakfast was OK but a bit expensive for the cooked a-la-carte & Buffet although not a problem for the corporates!
Family owned and operated - staff are professional, friendly and happy (and competent) to advise on local vineyards and vintages, many of which are available at the bar..
As I said - Book early..

We planned to stay 2 nights here, but only stayed one night as it was not good value. The room was certainly not spacious. There was a medium size fridge. No toaster. A table with only one chair, making it difficult for two to sit and eat. One of us had to have our meal sitting on the double bed. There were 2 small bedside tables. There was nowhere to put luggage other than on the floor. Also there was no compendium giving local information. The bathroom was larger than usual, but the hot water took an age to come through, wasting a lot of water. There was a locked connecting door to the next room from which emanated a lot of snoring & "other noises" most of the night. Whilst the fixtures were good quality and the room very clean we did not think it was good value at $140 a night.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with no connecting door to another room. Enquire as to the seating in the room.

Comfortable rooms many of which have been upgraded. Excellent restaurant on site and friendly staff. Several pubs local to the motel.

Room Tip: All rooms are near to the main road running through the town but traffic noise is not noticable.

Good location and rooms available in a very busy town. We enjoyed our one night stay at the motor inn - the room was clean and there was laundry available. The staff were welcoming and helpful. There's a good pub across the street and the grocery store is a block away. The bike store is a block the other direction.

This is a very busy motor inn close to the coal mines and wineries which is I guess why it gets a lot of through traffic.
Staff were very helpful, and upgraded me which I cannot fault.
Pluses - good location in the centre of Singleton, restaurant opens early for breakfast and is open reasonably late for a regional location. They also do a good cut lunch.
Rooms are sizeable.
Minuses - decor from the 1980s, CRT tv with a video player to complete the effect. Bit noisy due to doors being very close to neighbouring rooms.
