The room at the Candlelight Lodge is "quaint" enough to almost convince and the bar area is cosy with a log fire.
Food was fine without being wonderful (although the cheese fondue really suffers from not having authentic European cheese in it which is a shame given this is their speciality). Service was very friendly and efficient.
Our biggest issue was the fact that the entire restaurant, and most of the Lodge it would appear as we exited, suffers from terrible ventilation which meant that as the evening wore on things got smellier and smellier with a real "fug" in the air by the end. If you don't want your clothes smelling like you've been sitting in a commercial kitchen all night I would suggest you go elsewhere.
