It was a scary drive up the "peak" in dark and rain but I found it. Neat place. All folding chairs in a barn like venue with high wooden rafters. Walk up bar in the back. Use their website photos to locate your seat on Ticketmaster or you might behind a post. I would love to come back in the day to see the view

We had reservations for a Christmas show called Christmas with the Celts. The weather was horrible. The area was experiencing an ice and snow storm which made it very dangerous to drive up the mountain to Penn's Peak, not to mention the drive down.
We discovered when we read the fine print that Penn's Peak does not cancel so we braved the storm anyway, rather than lose the money we paid. What a mistake. The show was the worse we ever saw. There was one unflattering Christmas tree on the side of the stage and the band did not play or sing any recognizable Christmas songs. We opted to leave at intermission which was the right decision as the storm was getting worse. We will never book a reservation in the winter at Penn's Peak again, especially knowing they will only cancel if the band cancels and then with conditions.

This is the most spectacular view of the Jim Thorpe and surrounding areas. Food is good and fairly priced. Always great entertainment and never a bad seat in the house.

Went to a luncheon show to see the "Swing Dolls" at Penn's Peak. What a great time we had!!! The food was excellent, including their fabulous pot roast. We enjoyed the show tremendously - the group was fantastic. The girls performed all the songs of The Andrew Sisters and it really was a nostalgic show with the old time hair styles and the clothes of army GIs. Our favorite was when they played The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B. The hall was packed and everyone had such a good time!!! We can't wait for the next luncheon show. It is going to be a tribute to Neil Diamond!!!!
