I had a wonderful experience staying at the Homespun Cozy Inn during my first trip to Jim Thorpe. Not to be confused with a B&B (there's no breakfast included, but I didn't mind), the room we stayed in was small, affordable, cozy, and decorated in a way that made us feel like we were at home. The owner and her husband were incredibly accommodating--she even had the a/c fired up in our room before we arrived as it was a VERY hot weekend. The wifi was a bit spotty in our room, but we didn't mind, and small touches like a single-serve coffee maker and keurig cups was a nice addition. The room was clean, welcoming and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You cannot beat the location either, we were smack-dab in the heart of Jim Thorpe and its adorable shops and restaurants, and only a block away from the scenic Lehigh Gorge Train ride. I never felt like I was staying in stranger's home or a hotel, it just had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend to anyone looking for lodging in Jim Thorpe.
