I had a wonderful experience staying at the Homespun Cozy Inn during my first trip to Jim Thorpe. Not to be confused with a B&B (there's no breakfast included, but I didn't mind), the room we stayed in was small, affordable, cozy, and decorated in a way that made us feel like we were at home. The owner and her husband were incredibly accommodating--she even had the a/c fired up in our room before we arrived as it was a VERY hot weekend. The wifi was a bit spotty in our room, but we didn't mind, and small touches like a single-serve coffee maker and keurig cups was a nice addition. The room was clean, welcoming and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You cannot beat the location either, we were smack-dab in the heart of Jim Thorpe and its adorable shops and restaurants, and only a block away from the scenic Lehigh Gorge Train ride. I never felt like I was staying in stranger's home or a hotel, it just had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend to anyone looking for lodging in Jim Thorpe.

Room Tip: We chose the smallest room available for the price, so if you're tall or a family member is, the...

My husband and I spent one night at the Homespun Cozy Inn in Jim Thorpe, Pa. It's on a beautiful old street in the center of town. Everything there is tasteful and comfortable. It's also next to the fabulous restaurant, Moya. The innkeeper was very helpful. We'd definitely go back. This town is something of a hidden treasure in the Poconos.

Room Tip: We stayed in the small room on the third floor, which was fine. The other two rooms are full suites...

We stayed 2 nights in the upstairs suite which consisted of a living/dining area, bedroom, bath, and private deck. The rooms are decorated in a rustic country motif. VERY clean! Great location. All the furnishings were clean and kept. Bedding was very comfortable. Small fridge and Keurig in the room....no microwave. The building is old and quirky characteristics are visible throughout. Reserved parking for guests is about a block or two away. Very pleasant stay; we will definitely return again!

We stayed 2 nights in the upstairs suite. GREAT location. The rooms are VERY clean and VERY well kept. The furnishings are of a rustic country motif. There was a living/dining area, bedroom, bathroom, and private deck. It had a mini fridge and Keurig but, no microwave. Living space had a flatscreen tv. Dining area had a country table and 2 chairs. Queen sized bed was very comfortable; linens were very nice. Bathroom had an old fashioned claw tub with shower. There was a small window in the bathroom without a curtain...it needed a curtain, esp at night. The building is very old and the rooms still showed many quirky characteristics of old structures. Guest parking is provided a few blocks away. We had a very pleasurable stay and will return again!

Room Tip: This suite did have a nice deck which probably would be lovely in the spring or summer; we were ther...

My adult son and I did a couple of days biking and found this inn to be perfect for our needs. It is practically next store to Blue Mountain Sports for the shuttle to ride the Lehigh Gorge. It is very close to a variety of restaurants and next door to Moya. Our space consisted of a bedroom , adjoining kitchen and bathroom, and then upstairs another bedroom. Both had TV's and the lower bedroom DVD/VCR and CD player with all kinds of tapes, CD's , etc. The rooms were immaculately clean, comfortable chairs, and most importantly great mattresses on both beds. Debbie, the manager, was helpful and friendly. This was not a new modern facility- Jim Thorpe has all older buildings, but it was upgraded in many ways.
