“Best view of the city.”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

One of a kind attraction with best view of downtown and the surrounding areas. This is a must see if you've never been on the incline.

“Up on the Mountain”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

We have visited Johnstown now about three times and each time always do the Inclined Plane. Riding the plane allows for a nice experience. The store at the top of the railroad is nice to pick out a little reminder of the trip to take home. The lookout site is nice to just take your time and look below. We tried counting the churches.

“We got here because husbond said we should”
Reviewed 30 October 2013

My husbonds facination of this Inclined planes around is beyond me , but Johnstown got put early on the travel list a half year ago when we booked our flights to go on vacation for this year.
I wasnt really intersted since we went to another one in Chattanoga some years ago and it was rather a boring experiance to do , but something for all right ?
It was a rainy day when we went , we had a trip to the mall in the morning first since it really didnt want to stop raining , and had fun in the mall first then in the afternoon the weather cleared up enough for us to go , and after all going all the way from Denmark to see this so we was certainly going even if there was some raindrops in the air
So happy we did it was a very special trip to the top and when we got to the top we had a nice talk with one of the drivers up there , walked around and then took it down again and much more interesting trip then we had expected

We took a ride in the inclined railroad. It was very inexpensive and we saw a great view of the city. Enjoyable and relaxing!
