We just returned from our second terrific weekend at Pamela's Forget Me Not. The Forget Me Not is convenient to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, a popular spot for bird watchers with great hiking and rock scrambling.
The Forget Me Not offers a variety of attractive and thoughtfully furnished rooms with comfortable beds. Our group of 3 "kinda sisters" really enjoyed the space of the Carriage House Suite with a private deck. The Anniversary Suite was also very comfortable for 3 of us, though it is aptly named and would have been perfect and romantic for a couple.
Pamela serves a great breakfast, with an emphasis on healthful (but yummy) organic foods, and she is very accommodating to any special dietary needs. She had the fridge stocked with help-yourself-anytime organic lemonade. She served homemade cookies in the evening, and left dark chocolate goodies in our room. The front porch is a comfortable and beautiful place to relax, and we were entertained by Pamela's two new kittens.
An added bonus for our group is that Pamela is a certified yoga teacher and will happily provide a private yoga class tailored to your experience level. (Or, in our case, tailored to the particular muscles that we had overworked while hiking.) I highly recommend Pamela's Forget Me Not to anyone who enjoys the friendliness and personal service of a B and B.
