“Diverse menu and nice change of pace”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

What a nice departure from the run-of-the-mill Italian and steak places around. The menu has many different things to choose from whether you're a vegetarian or a meat or seafood lover. The wait staff is attentive, and I always love a BYOB! Call ahead for a reservation - this place gets booked on the weekends.

“Good Choice for the Area”
Reviewed 27 March 2014

We were invited by friends for a birthday dinner to Bysra. We were a large party of 15, which they were able to accommodate in a very inviting way. The restaurant has a lot of small tables, with low, intimate lighting, but the clientele was not just couples when we were there. It was very busy, on the Friday night we were there.

It is a very Italian menu, but quite customized. None more so than the appetizers, which were so-so. Salads and main meals were very good. I had the paella - good; scallops were popular and well rated. The staff were excellent and very attentive.

I would recommend this place for good Italian-style food and great service.

“Great food with attention to the details in a wonderful small town.”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

Kennett Square has an incredible number of great dining options for such a small town, but Byrsa is one of my favorites. The grape leaves are fabulous and the rest of the menu has a number of unique and delicious options.

“Wonderful Food, Warm and Inviting”
Reviewed 23 February 2014

Top notch Mediterranean cuisine. Not prentice us, just done right and with care. This is also a BYOB so bring a lovely wine that can stand up to the flavors. The fish is wonderful, hummus, appetizers and the chicken my husband loves. Couscous is fabulous, they accommodated for vegans and vegetarians. They are busy call ahead.
