We went here because of the music on the deck, but being we arrived an hour into it, of course there were no seats available outside. Walking in, we waited at least 5-8 minutes before someone approached us, being we had no idea what to expect, what their menu was, etc... Actually, we almost walked out?? They were busy, I get it...but it's still no excuse for making us stand there and ignoring us all that time?? Finally a nice young lady approached us and we ended up ordering 2 glasses of wine, and were able to get a seat inside. Only stayed about 30 minutes, being there really isn't any option to tour the facility and their store is nearly non-existent. Just a bunch of bottles on one wall and some pottery items. Other wineries we've been too are much more impressive, attentive and friendly. This place could use some improvements, but all in all, it's a nice place to get a good glass/bottle of wine.

We are sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience in our tasting room. Hidden away in Chester County we are zoned residentially and cannot always accommodate a high volume of guests which is unfortunate as we enjoy making each guest's experience as unique as possible. As a boutique winery we do not operate as a commercial facility, thus the winery only having tastings and bottles for sale which is our main purpose as a tasting room.

We hope to see you again and anticipate your next experience being a pleasant one.

Stopped in for a tasting and stayed for wine and cheese on the deck. There was live music and the view was beautiful. If we were to go again, we would pack our own picnic. A great place to meet friends and sip wine.

We enjoyed a perfect summer evening capped with fireworks at the Galer Estate vineyards and winery. The setting is wonderful - striking view, great ambience. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The wines we tried (Sauvignon blanc and rose) were crisp and light, well paired with cheese and veggies A taste of the cab franc suggested a return visit - soon. Brava to the owners - this is one to watch.

Galer Estate has a large deck with tables & chairs, and they welcome you to bring your own food to accompany their wine. Yesterday we met some friends and spent a couple hours on the deck with a variety of appetizers and multiple glasses of wine. (Next time we might just buy by the bottle, but it was fun to sample different varieties this time.)

We thought their Clockmaker Chardonnay was quite good, and the Sauvignon Blanc lover among us was very impressed with that choice. We also enjoyed the Cabernet Franc, which we're not real familiar with. It was a very light wine, which was a surprise, but excellent on a warm afternoon. There are about a dozen wines on the menu, mostly $9 a glass (generous pour) or $25 a bottle. Is the wine better than the $15-$20/bottle California wines we usually buy? Probably not. But it's a local winery for us, and they are making very nice wines. We like to support them when we can.

Live music starts around 5, and it was enjoyable. It's just a perfect way to spend a summer afternoon, sipping wine and sharing good food with friends while overlooking the thriving vineyards in the rolling hills of Chester County. I've read there's a "pop-up art exhibit" on Thursdays, featuring a different local artist -- in a variety of mediums -- every week. I definitely want to get back for that.
