“A bit pricey but worth it!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 October 2013 via mobile

We always eat at the Terrace Cafe when we visit Longwood Gardens. I would definitely recommend the mushroom soup. They have a variety of salads, sandwiches, and quite a nice selection of desserts. Everything is always very good. It can get quite crowded but the lines move quickly. One tip is to save your money on the bottled drinks and get the fresh self-served iced tea or lemonade. Refills are free and the original cup is cheaper than most of the other beverages.

“Very tasty wholesome food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 October 2013

We both had salads. They were very fresh, large and tasty. They try hard to use wholesome foods, no salami here. Great for lunch while in the gardens.

What a nice atmosphere for sandwhiches hot food too , iced tea lemonade, fruit salads. A treat ! A worthwhile stop for lunch while touring. Dine inside or outdoors on the terrace, either way it won't dissapoint.

“Great place to take a break at Longwood Gardens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2013

The Terrace Cafe is a cafeteria type café within the gardens. The Terrace Café typically offers a build a salad bar, sandwiches, hot entrées, soup, desserts, prepackaged salads & sandwiches, and hot & cold beverages. The selections are not inexpensive but they are not typical food service fare. I have found the food offerings to be interesting, and well prepared with quality ingredients. This is, I am sure, the result of having a resident chef from the “1906 Restaurant” overseeing the Terrace Café offerings. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available.
