Who would have thought the author of "Riders of the Purple Sage" lived in upsate PA rather than Utah, where the story took place. Aside: interesting to note that part of the plot of "RPS" seems to parallel Conan Doyle's "A Study in Scarlet".

This is a great place to learn about Zane Grey and his writing. The staff answered all of my grand kids questions and they could not wait to read his books.

If you are a fan of the old cowboy story you can't help, but go here. There are other things to do near here that makes for wonderful day - biking, kayaking, lovely walk, and restaurants (so so).
