“Breakfast was pretty much what we expected.”
Reviewed 16 October 2012

We ordered the pancakes ... my husband had the apple/walnut, I had the blueberry. Both plates were good, but somewhat sparse except for a single twisted orange slice. Once our breakfast was served our waitress disappeared and trying to get a refill on the coffee became a daunting task. The restaurant has had a recent renovation which was much needed ... they did a nice job! We won't run back any time soon, but it was certainly adequate for the price.

“Varied Prix Fixe Menu”
Reviewed 26 September 2012

Friends said to try Waterlilies during the week for their prix fixe. There was quite a selection. For $17.95 prix fixe, I had a creamy tomato parmesan soup, salmon piccata, and a chocolate fudge cake. Every course was fine; I especially like the piccata sauce. Even the vegetable sides of beets (some preparation style that I had not had before...similar to Harvard) and the mashed potatoes were good. For the $23.95 prix fixe, another person had the seafood pescatore with the clams, shrimp and fish. They thought that it was a little soupy. Someone else had the $24.95 prix fixe filet with a blue cheese/Hollandaise sauce. Another person had the $17.95 Giambatta. All entrees were tasty. Garden salad, Caesar salad or soup are the appetizer choices. Desserts, they print, are homemade. But if you want a place with a different take on prixe fixe. Try this place. Keep in mind that during the week, they seem to have less wait staff.

“Come back”
Reviewed 22 August 2012

I have been to waterlillies many times
Throughout the last 15 plus years.
Very quaint dining experience.
Never had a bad meal or bad experience
In this restaurant as the employees
Have been working there for many years
And we are all on a first name basis.
They have a wonderful area in the restaurant that is like a covered porch
Which gives you the experience of eating
Outside.
Every employee pays special attention
To your needs as a diner.
Breakfast as well as dinner couldn't be better.
I have had many varieties of breakfasts
As well as dinners and have never been
Disappointed.
You always get what you pay for.
After your wonderful meal you can take a pleasant walk through peddlers village
Or drive to scenic new hope, pa and spend the day browsing shops.
Give it a try as you can't go wrong with this place as I am an extremely
Particular diner and I stated earlier NEVER HAD A BAD MEAL there.
Way to go waterlillies

“Great cozy restaurant”
Reviewed 8 August 2012

My husband live local to this restaurant and go there several times a year. They do offer three course meals for $17.00 as well as their regular menu items which are delicious. My favorite meal at this restaurant is breakfast. Restaurant is small but cozy and the staff is friendly and ready to please.

“Meh”
Reviewed 4 May 2012

I've been to Waterlilies for dinner and for lunch. Lunch is better than dinner. The dinner entries are just OK. Lunch is often lively and the food is fresh. The pierogi are pretty good. The salads are always good for lunch. The Ceasar is just ok - romaine with bottled ceasar dressing and a few croutons. Pretty boring. The service is efficient but cold. The dinner steaks are average, the other entrees are also just average. Neither good nor bad. About all you can say about dinner is that it is better than eating at a Ruby Tuesdays or its counterparts when you don't want to cook.
