We stayed in this hotel while on a trip to Lancaster. The room was clean and spacious and had nice little kitchen. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner that was provided by the hotel. The children enjoyed swimming in the pool. There was an exercise room, complimentary wi-fi and the staff was friendly.

Excellent room, food, service. Was upgraded to 2-bedroom ste. by hotel. Pleased and excited me. We had a great stay. Had 5 little ones and they thought it was "cool." I have stayed there many times in 1-bedroom ste. and it is my preferred hotel.

The front desk supervisor "Jen Stein Ruck and staff member "Brad" were more than RUDE and NASTY. They were truly PREDJUDICE to my family and I. They quoted untruthful policy to my family and I , swore by the policy. But after further research, the policy applied to all other ethnic groups except “Caucasians”. They went as far as to tell us they were not part of HILTON. We were forced to call HILTON corporate office and customer service to get the correct policy. The policy in effect was what we stated when we arrived. They treated us like we were nothing, truly “TRASH”. If made us feel like what our ancestors went through in the past. I thought this kind of treatment was behind us, but not at this establishment. It is ALIVE and being ENFORCED. What they forgot to incorporate into their LIES that the new generation of kids and adults can read and write. We can interpret attitudes, body language, and we are intelligent. The staff continued to INSULT” our intelligence throughout our stay but we tried to have a nice time in spite of their treatment. This was an unreal experience for us. We take yearly family trips and we have only experience this treatment twice at HILTON hotels. It was really unbearable. They made it OBVIOUS that our presence were not welcome. They continued this ATTITUDE throughout our entire stay
Few examples:
INJURY:
• One of our family members, age “62”, fell down in front of the hotel lobby door. This occurred in front of the front desk manager, “Jen Stein Ruck”. Jen didn’t attempt to do anything. She never tried to assist with ANYTHING. She never asked if we needed an ambulance or if everything was okay. She didn’t do ANYTHING.
We asked Jen Stein Ruck to provide us with some ice to place on the fallen family members head. Jen told us where to go get the ice. We attempted to get more ice for the fallen family members head and Jen quoted the following “DIDN’T I JUST GIVE YOU SOME ICE”. We had to GET SOME ADDITIONAL ice FROM housekeeping.
Jen never came out to take a report; she never asked if our family member was okay. SHE DID NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
POOL:
ALL of the kids were having fun in the POOL, CAUCASIONS included. Someone complained that there was too much noise in the pool area. We were asked to take our kids out of the Pool but the Caucasians were told they could go back in the pool. Our kids were devastated.
KIDS:
• All of the kids were running around the hotel, Caucasian included. We were constantly being singled out for any and everything that went wrong the weekend we stayed at this hotel. This was mainly due to Jen, Brad, and other staff members attitudes towards our kids intermingling with the other kids. These were Disturbing moments for us. We had to separate our kids from the other guest because of this behavior.
Kitchen staff and food:
The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. They made our stay feel at home. I would recommend the following for the kitchen staff:
• More than one waffle maker. This would assist with long lines and accommodate the flow of guest in the hotel
• More food options, the food selection were slim and were repeated daily.
• More stock of condiments and food. The kitchen ran out of food and condiments daily. We ended up purchasing ketchup at Walmart for the hotel because they ran out of ketchup for the second day. They continued to run out of food daily. This occurred one (1) after opening the kitchen.
I would state the following for this hotel:
• No one should be discriminated against because of the color of their skin
• All guest should be spoken to with respect
• No guest should be insulted by staff
• All Guest should be provided with the utmost RESPECT
• ALL guest should be able to engage in conversation with hotel staff and should not be treated as if they are beneath the staff
• NO guest should be put through this type of PREDJUDICE TURMOIL for NO reason at ALL.
• And the most important factor here, is that NO GUEST should be LIED to constantly for ANY reason
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE ESPECIALLY OTHER ETHNIC GROUPS OTHER THAT CAUCASIONS STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

THIS WAS ONE OF THE WORST VACATIONS IVE EVER HAD. THE OTHER CASE WAS AT A HILTON HOTEL IN MYRTLE BEACH, SC., LAST YEAR.

Room Tip: We were placed on the second floor. i cant speculate about other floors. the second floor was nice

We visited Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster with our grandson. Homewood Suites is a quick few minutes away from the park in a much nicer area than the other hotels along the highway across from the park. Great accommodations for a family including heated indoor pool and complimentary breakfast. Convenient to other attractions in Lancaster.

This is my third stay at homewoodsuites, but my first one in Landcaster Pennsylvania, due to the unpleasant experience I will never stay at a homewoodsuites again, the office manager and the staff was very bitter doing our entire stay, which was just for the weekend. Room service was poor, The hotel was ok, but theFront Desk staff made it a very uncomfortable stay for my family and I, but we refuse to let someone else hatefulness run us away. I have always been a fan of the Hilton but homewoodsuites I will never give them any money again. As for lancaster, the experince was awesome besides the RACIST STAFF at homewoodsuites. The Front Desk is the staff I am referring to, everyone else was pleasant and cordial.

The pool was close most of our stay. The room service was very poor. There were no handicap spaces near the rear entrance and we had to request towels every day. They only left 3 for a room reserved for 4. We were not told until Friday that we could have had the evening meal there Mon thru Thursday. Overall it was a disappointment from what I have grown to expect from a Hilton Property.

These rooms have the perfect set-up for larger families and families with little ones. Not just a room divider, but an actual door separates the kitchen/lounge area from the beds/bathroom. Always clean and quiet. Indoor pool and complimentary breakfast are always a hit with the kids.
