“Just passed through but looked nice”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2013

I just visited it with friends and I was especially impressed by the fact they have kept an old mansion that is part of the place, with its red brick wall. It gives the whole thing a very unique atmosphere. And the rest of what I've seen looked modern, convenient and well-designed.

Heard it was a new convention and it looked nice. Our meeting breakout had a lot of space to use. Nice facility

“Pricey and pretentious”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2013

Our experience was primarily at the bar and restaurant. Although the food was reasonably good, the servers were slow and dull. They seemed a little confused by the words on their own menu. The surroundings were nice enough, but it came off a bit stodgy. The price was inflated for the quality and quantity. The room is loud and echos as a result of the flooring.

“Great Convention Center with Marriott Hotel attached - catch one of their venues and be pleasantly surprised.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2013

The Convention Center does hold many regional trade shows and venues - but it has become best known as a fabulous wedding venue with a ****Marriott Hotel attached. It's located in center city across from the Fulton Bank Headquarters and Historic Central Market. Come stay a night or two and enjoy a very 'walkable/historic stroll" through Lancaster - you'll love it!

“Beautiful but expensive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2013

This hotel/convention center is a beautiful addition to downtown Lancaster. Keeping the original facade from the Watt and Shand department store, the modern interior is a beautiful contrast to the older exterior. The restaurant is excellent, but you will pay big city prices to eat there. Make sure to explore the entire ground floor to see the preserved parts of Thaddeus Stevens' house, which was an Underground Railroad stop.
