Good Italian food is tough to find in Lancaster. There are many options but very few nail it with authenticity. Our last visit to Ciro's was a hit and miss. Sauces are excellent, flavorful without being overwhelming. Pastas were done just right. The personal pizza was crisp without being cooked to death. The gelato is phenomenal. My low score here is due specifically to the veal cutlet used for the veal parm. It was tough, overdone, too much breading and just a bad piece of meat. I know the realities of working with veal -- I'd suggest serving a smaller portion and getting it fresh from a good source instead of a frozen Sysco box. We'll give it another shot - and see what we like.
