This is a handsome renovation with lots of brick and natural wood; comfortable beds; very nice continental breakfast; very nice room amenities and lots of towels; BUT, the architects who worked on this factory conversion failed provide room to room sound attenuation. I could hear a phone conversation from the room on one side of me and the TV from the room on the other side, as well as every foot step from the guests in the room above.
Too bad as they had an opportunity to accomplish sound isolation just like most other quality hotels but missed the boat. One other comment, the bath showers are done with a dark tile and black grout ... a guest will have difficulty seeing mold, when it appears which is something I am always on the lookout for whenever I stay at a hotel. If the shower tile and grouts are light, mold can be seen ...even the housekeepers will have difficulty here. Also, the bath ventilation is probably inadequate, so there will be mold to contend with sooner then they realize.
All that aside the aesthetic character is quite refreshing from the usual and I will certainly return someday.
