We stayed at this hotel while traveling for business. We initially had booked a 30 day reservation after searching all of the available options. The "homey" feel appealed to us after being on the road non-stop for 2 weeks. The hotel staff was friendly at check-in and were very willing to accommodate us. This hotel is independently owned and not part of any franchised chain, therefore you will not find any of the flashy breakfast options or luxury comforts; however, you will find a caring staff and convenient location. We were comfortable throughout our stay. The staff was also very accommodating when we discovered that we had to cut our stay short and depart quickly for a new assignment. I would definitely recommend booking this hotel. You will feel like family while you are there.

Room Tip: Balconies have rocking chairs and a small area to sit outside in the mornings or evenings. Ask for...

We were not disappointed with our two nights stay in this hotel. We had made a third party booking which had not been properly organised and the hotel was not expecting us until the following night. The reception staff handled this mix up professionally and in a very friendly manner. We wanted our room to be cooler and the reception staff went to a great deal of bother to solve the problem effectively to our satisfaction. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast was more than adequate. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Amish area.

Older, but clean rooms. Very friendly & helpful staff. Wish the rooms had microwave & coffee maker. There was coffee & hot water available 24/7 in lobby, but I have to be dressed to fetch it. Breakfast was OK, but would have liked a few more choices. We, my Mom, (actually room booked in her name) my Aunt & I were there in-between visit to the Green Dragon in Ephrata & show at the Dutch Apple, so it was centrally located for us. Overall, a good one night stay.

Stayed at this hotel while my daughters participated in a soccer tournament. Hotel itself is average, although the indoor pool and free breakfast are a big plus. The difference was the staff...they were very nice and accommodating to our big group. They met every request with a smile and did their best to make sure our stay was special. A nice plus was that the hotel did not seem to mind the noise level of the 20+ teenage girls hanging out in their lobby. Thanks for a nice stay.

Room Tip: we were booked into a standard room (no refrigerator and no balcony)...asked for an upgraded room wi...

3rd and last time staying here. Location to Dutch Wonderland, heated pool and rates directed family here.
There was a large creepy crawler in the bathtub crawling around. Annoying fly in room. Pillows were so bad. Sheets, blanket and comforter weren't washed in a long time and were so gross.
I still have back pain from the cheap mattress.
Never again until they replace the pillows, mattresses, blankets, comforters and clean better.
The continental breakfast in this tiny room was just so inadequate. Why bother!
Time to move on as my wife put it, for the next trip.

This was an average stay for a lot of price. The hotel was clean, staff professional and pleasant and rooms were adequate. However, for the price, I'd expect more than average. Lancaster is filled with "average" hotels for a much better rate.

The breakfast is sub-par, and while it isn't advertised as a full breakfast, be aware it is a very lean, "cheap" continental breakfast. Cheap grocery store doughnuts, white bread, some sub-par fruit and dry bagels along with boxed cereal. No juice. Nothing fancy. For that reason alone, because so much better amenities are available at other hotels at a similar or cheaper price point, we likely wouldn't chose this hotel again. When we travel with our kids one of the biggest deciding factors is a nice hot breakfast that is included in price and convenient. In their defense, it is definitely not advertised as a hot breakfast, but it is one of the most bare, sub-par continental breakfast I've seen. Lesson learned. With kids, I want a nice spread and am willing to pay for it.

The rooms were large, clean and well furnished. We had a "deluxe" room with the small deck and it was charming. The plumbing was older and not efficient. The air system was loud, but worked. The beds and pillows were fine. We were on the first floor and the noise above us was ridiculous. I don't even think it was an obnoxiously loud guest, but the floors squeaked with every step. I've never heard anything so horrible at a hotel. Every single step the 2nd floor guests made we could hear by a squeak or creek. We had two rooms adjoining and it was an issue for both rooms. We had all our kids tucked in bed by 10pm and for the next 2-3 hours we heard non stop creaking and squeaking over our heads. I travel with a fan and we turned the vent fan on in the kid's room to block some of the noise.

The pool was nice, parking abundant and even thought it was on a busy road, it was set back enough that it was quiet and serene "feeling". Overall, an "ok" hotel, but again, at this price point with what is available competitively, we won't go back. It was definitely a family friendly, lovely hotel, but Lancaster has no shortage of this, making this one just "another ok hotel" at a slightly elevated rate.

This motel was well situated for our annual family girls-get-a-way. Group included grandma, daughter and 2 granddaughters ages 10 and 12. Lobby had 24 hour coffee, tea, orange and apple juices, and fruit water. Complimentary fresh popped popcorn available from 3-8 PM and a cold breakfast was included. Our room had a balcony with 2 rocking chairs that I (grandma) loved! Sitting outside and enjoying some down time reading all the travel booklets with a cup of tea in the evening was perfect. Coffee outdoors before the others awakened was a wonderful way to start my day. My granddaughters enjoyed the indoor pool after a busy day of activities and an early dinner. This motel was wonderful and very clean. I would highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Make sure your room has a balcony!
