“Had a great stay!!”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

Just returned from Circle M. I was scared I had made a mistake about making reservations due to the bad reviews. We lucked up with a great site across from the indoor pool. We had no problems with our site, only one other camper in that area. The pools were clean, lifeguards were great and the water park was awesome! Security drove thru several times. There was locals in the pools but they did not bother us but actually told us about great places to visit! Playground did not have bees. I have no complaints about this campground other than having to pay extra for cable and wi-if. We did go a little before the busy season as school was still in session up there. I would visit again.

We have just gotten home after being at the campground for 5 days. At the beginning it seemed bearable. I am a early riser and one morning witnessed one of our neighbors walking there dogs rite onto other sites and letting them urinate all over the vehicle tires including ours. Then the place started filling up! Sloppy, disgusting people. 30 people per site. Throwing trash where ever they pleased. Your site, their site, middle of road, river. But the last straw was a car alarm goin off at 5 am. No one was around to turn it off. After about 20 min it was shut off only to have them blare their radio to a Spanish music station. We have never complained at any campground, but this was like no other experience we have ever had. Rules are not inforced and the majority of the campers( tenters) are just sloppy, rude, pigs - no other words to describe it.

Circle “M” is part of the Outdoor World/ENCORE group of campgrounds. The entrance to the park is very nice with a tree lined road leading to the RV sites. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, basketball courts, mini golf, and a chip-n-putt course. The Conestoga River runs through the property. There is plenty for kids to do, and you are right in the middle of Lancaster County with all the sites and history. If you are visiting Amish Country in an RV, this is a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Some of the sites are less than level.

We rented a cabin. The cabin was nice and clean. The staff is friendly. The wild wild water park was closed but they told me that before I got here. The indoor pool was open. Nice place to go for family fun. They have activities and the kids and adults have fun.

We visited with friends who were camping here for a few days. We are campers ourselves, just not this particular weekend. We found this campground to be very dated with narrow sites. The indoor water park and pool were nice and would be wonderful for kids. Mini golf looked passable.

The biggest negative is that you have to find your own site - you are guaranteed a site but you have to ride around and find one that will fit your rig. For those of us with large class A motorhomes that is rather hard. If the campground is full you are put in "overflow", which will likely be their parking lot, but you won't be turned away. I understand this is the case with all of Thousand Trail's campgrounds.

This past Halloween weekend was my family's 1st time there. I was excited about the indoor pool / waterpark for my son. Other camper's that we were there with went to the pool ahead of us & turned around. It is the 3rd weekend in October & they did not heat the pool water!!! When you pay extra for the better amenities, you want to enjoy them & when you can not, you can't justify the pricing! The covered mini golf was free, however needs a lot of repairs. The electrical boxes that you hook up to need to be tended to. I have been told by a 10 year camper there that the place has gone down hill in the past few years & it is a shame because the land in beautiful. I won't take the 2 hour trip there again, it is just not worth it.

Went with some friends for a weekend getaway. We got the 6 person trailer. We had a really nice weekend! The trailer has a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, 2 separate bedrooms and a pullout couch. There was also a deck and a grill and fire pit. The trailer was clean, but we did see a few stink bugs, but I know they are a problem everywhere, even in my own house. We went to the pool which was nice and there are lots of activities going on that we could have participated in. The campground is more like a trailer park, not very wooded, but we went knowing this. Overall it was a great trip, and perfect for a bunch of late 20 something friends.
