My husband and I certainly enjoyed our brief stay in the Diamond Suite at Pearl's Place. From the moment I made the online reservations, Timm was in frequent contact via email to assure that our stay met our needs. We were very grateful to Timm for offering an early check-in to better accommodate our plans for the day in Lancaster. From the moment Timm greeted us at the front door, we felt right at home. The inn is small, only two guest rooms, but quite cozy, with several common areas (the large one on the second floor had a big-screen tv, lots of comfortable seating, and many books available to read). As Timm showed us the Diamond Suite, he offered to serve the next morning's breakfast in our room, if we desired, which was a nice gesture. (We decided to eat in the downstairs dining room). The diamond suite was simply lovely! The massive king bed with cozy pillows and linens was so inviting and situated perfectly next to the bay window, and facing a wall of built-in cabinets/closets, probably original to the house. We enjoyed some relaxing time in the sitting room, equipped with a nice love seat and rocker, along with a large dresser and mirror, and entertainment center with a flat-screen television. Also in this room was a small refrigerator with sodas and bottles of water already chilled for us. A coffee maker was placed on top of the refrigerator, and granola bars were available in a dish for snacks. The bath was quite roomy and had two sinks, each on opposite sides of the jacuzzi tub. Breakfast in the morning was out of this world! Timm had the table set beautifully with goblets of ice water and orange juice, cloth napkins, tablecloth, etc. A very generous serving of fresh fruit started the meal, followed by a muffin-style egg, onion, and sausage entree, accompanied by three links of pork sausage and gourmet bread. Pots of coffee and hot water for tea also graced the table. The meal was just a lovely way to start our day! Throughout our stay, Timm made sure everything was perfect! He couldn't do enough for us! As we checked out, we met Alesia, one of the inn-keepers, who was as friendly as she could be! All in all, Pearl's Place made for a perfect home-away from-home!
