We had heard that a new Mexican restaurant had opened up and decided to check it out. Apparently it had opened earlier this month. However, it appears that the staff needs some guidance in operating a restaurant. The restaurant was not busy, but there was one or two other customers. When we ordered, the staff did not know where basic supplies (like taco shells) were stored. They did not know if items listed on the menu were available, etc. The service was reasonably fast and friendly. The food, however was not good. There was little flavor, and it was not hot...in fact it was not even warm (but not totally cold). The salsa used in the food and that came with the side order of chips and salsa also had little flavor. The tomatoes used were not near to being ripe, and the only taste was basically onions. The staff apparently had little experience in making items such as burritos. The décor was modern, but comfortable. Unfortunately, it will be a long time since we were unimpressed with the food, and, given the price, there are much better values available elsewhere.
