Ok, maybe its a bit strange to rave about a side dish, but wait till you eat it. Easily best potatoes I have ever had. We had a table at the glass windows overlooking the river - with my lady getting the view of the pedestrian bridge. Very nice. As we had had drinks prior, we went with wine by the glass. Both were very nice, and good size pour. For apps we had the crab chowder and the crispy salt-and-pepper squid. The former was ok, but nothing special. The squid was very unique, very good. But, as described, a strong salt-and-pepper taste. For mains we had the cod Asian flavored style and the scallops with crispy pork belly and a each bourbon sauce. Both were excellent flavors - and the cod was a nice portion as well. Service was spot on, as you would expect. Its not a cheap place, but it is worth the money. Want a unique romantic night? Here is my suggestion... for people from New Jersey...drive to Stockton and have a drink at the Stockton Inn bar - suck in the history of the place [you'll return another time for dinner]. Then drive 5 miles north along the river to Bulls Island State Park - pull in and park. Walk to Pennsylvania on the only Delaware-crossing pedestrian-only bridge - and straight into the Black Bass. Enjoy.
