Went for the Wine & Food event. The hotel was AWESOME! Shout out to the front desk staff - helpful, cheery, welcoming - 110% non-pretentious. Rooms were very, very clean. The hotel is lodge like, warm and restful. Outdoor pools & hot tubs rocked. Even the shampoos/conditioners are Philosophy brand. Awesome. Go, go, go! Beds are very high - may be an issue for little ones, made me feel like a queen. Blankets were warm & fluffy. Total treat.

Room Tip: Really can't see how there could be a "less desirable" room. All looked perfect....

Doe Mountain is beautiful and so is the interior of this modern resort! Once you step inside you won't believe how wonderful and clean and nicely decorated it is! The stone walls and fireplaces are gorgeous and the rooms are just as gorgeous and especially clean, too. Wish all hotels were like this one! Heard lots of great things about their spa from guests who have attended weddings in the banquet halls or baby showers and all have said it is truly a nice place to stay or host an event. It is tucked away off of main and secondary roads, but well worth the trip! And if you are not doing an outdoor activities, each section of resort is inter-connected from the inside so you don't have to get on coats to eat at the restaurants, unless of course you are swimming or using the hot tub outdoors. Our standard room event had a wonderful patio/deck. The staff is very nice and professional too. We are looking forward coming back with the kids to attend the Mother's Day Brunch! Can't wait.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights while attending the spring wine and fine food festival in April. The resort is beautiful and close to home! All of the staff we came across were very friendly and always had a warm greeting for us. Our room (executive king) was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. We also enjoyed various meals at the restaurants while staying there. We also had a great 5 mile hike on their trails around the mountain that the resort is built around. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. There is somthing for everyone here. From the amentities to the service, Bear Creek is top notch and does it right!

This resort is far exceeded my expectation. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Everything is maintained very nicely. Staff are friendly from the front desk to the cleaning staff. The food is excellent in every restaurants there. Clam chowder is so good that I brought some home. The Grille is absolutely fantastic, food is great and atmosphere is so elegant yet comfortable. Got to do the spa, very professional and well-trained staff. Everyone seems happily working there and that makes the guests very happy and comfortable being there. We will definitely return next year!

Room Tip: I think all the rooms are good. Not sure if the ground floor rooms are quiet though for people have...

We arrived at Bear Creek on the Friday night of the last open weekend for Skiing. Our 6 and 9 year olds had never skiied before and my wife only a handful of times years ago. We enjoyed the heated outdoor pools and hot tubs Friday night before hitting the slopes Saturday morning. My daughter LOVED the kodiak program and graduated from the bunny slopes by noon. My son advanced through the discovery course and was able to do the lifts with us after lunch. My wife was ahead of her class and gained a wealth of confidense on the slope. I was able to hit all the advances slopes while they were in class and again in the evening while they watched a movie in the room in front of the fireplace. We enjoyed a good meal in the cafe at a reasonable rate. Customer service from everyone we met was excellent. I couldn't have ask for anything more!

We stayed at Bear Creek from Wednesday 3/13/13 through Sunday 3/17/13 in a Slope Side King Suite. The hotel and grounds were clean, groomed and nicely laid out. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The hotel staff was very accommodating. Different types of food were readily available at the hotel's three restaurants. We very much enjoyed the skiing and tubing. The slopes were also well groomed and safety is a priority. The ski lessons were well worth the money. We look forward to visiting again next year.

Room Tip: Request a slope side room for the excellent views. Especially at night. The King Suite (slope side...

We stayed on March 10 and 11th we were greeted by Bobbi at the front desk who found us a room that was available hours before we were due to check in which was incredibly appreciated because we were only there for one night and were able to maximize our stay because of that. Just being greeted with a smile at the front desk with four excited and restless children was appreciated. Everyone at the hotel provided great service - the housekeeping staff, the ski rental ' hot rent' staff, the ski school personnel especially the director. Who we met on the Hill in the midst of another lesson. she time to speak with my son and encourage him and help him with snowboarding. M Bill on the ski slopes Who operated the lift and helped us with some challenges there and Heather at the pool restaurant Bar and the bartender at the grill where we had dinner for being so hospitable.

The outdoor pools and hot tubs were awesome - overlooking the mountain so nice to enjoy a cocktail by the pool or just watch the kids swim or swim with them.

My only recommendation would be for a wood burning fire of some sort. I know gas fireplaces are the trend but there's nothing like the smell of wood smoke in the snow. maybe have an outdoor bonfire like other resorts do?

One other minor issue- our room smelled like fabreeze was sprayed Although that is very subjective and what it smelled like to me. I read that the resort is eco-friendly and appreciated that. could've just been me but maybe use natural cleaning products. we did really appreciate the philosophy shampoo and conditioner smells so good I'm going to buy it for home! housekeeping staff was so friendly and the room was very clean.

We had a great Overnight stay and enjoyed every minute of it thank you for a wonderful experience.
