We have dined at Bunha Faun many times and have found the food to be excellent on each and every occasion. The restaurant is housed in a long-defunct Dairy Queen on Route 30 near Malvern. The decor is a bit tired and worn, both inside and outside, but the tables are always set very pleasantly. The appetizer of choice is Fried Oysters, and it remains one of our top three appetizers of all time. The entree, Rainbow Trout, is not far behind the Fried Oysters and is another 5-star choice. Desserts are good, but not spectacular. Noise level is good also, perhaps because the clientele tends to be older, probably a result of the restaurant's proximity to Hershey's Mill, an over-55 community whose residents like to get dolled up and eat out. A wonderful dining experience, in any case.
