This small, privately-owned facility is spotless inside and outside. It comes with all of the amenities of the luxury chains, without the price tag. The staff and owners were helpful and friendly. It is easy to find off the highway. We would recommend this to everyone.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper, the road noise could be bothersome. We had no problem!

We booked a room here based upon other TripAdvisor reviews, and were not disappointed, the place is extremely clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay here again next time we're in the area. If you want a comfortable and clean place to spend the night, it is perfect.

Hi, I reviewed the Scottish Inns Milfird once before, but I just had to come back and rave about it all over again. This is no ordinary motel. It raises pure comfortable ordinariness to a sort of high transcendence in the same way that great art or literature does; it makes us feel vitally alive from the tips of our toes to the top of our heads, so that finally, for the first time in our lives perhaps, we know we exist, we know why we are here, standing on this particular planet, around this particular star, in a universe blazing with untold billions, myriads of others. We come home to ourselves with a shock, as though riding on a jet plane and crossing the sound barrier, or as though passing through a star gate into a parallel universe. So, all your life you've been wondering what's the point, who you are, why bother to go on? Come to the Scottish Inns Milford and look around and look inward as well. Sink into the deep refreshing reality of the be-here-and-now. Step out back on the secluded path and watch the river flow. Then, later in the evening, stroll next door to the fabulous Village Diner, where the key lime pie is a veritable consciousness-changing taste treat, and the dazzling smiles of the prettiest waitresses in North America will make you never want to leave. Yes, let other motels rave all they want about their cleanliness, friendliness, and inexpensiveness all they want, but the Scottish Inns Milford is light years ahead of the pack. (We also have enjoyed the New York clam chowder, a revelation.) Instead of our annual tour of European and Asian capitals this year, we are planning to spend the summer at the Scottish Inns Milford, and invite our many talented and gifted friends to join us for breakfast, lunch and dinner each and every day at the amazing Village Diner!!!

Room Tip: I recommend room #8, but I live there half the time, so try #7, and if you enjoy comedy, knock on th...

My wife and I had the honor of staying at this Scottish Inns in Milford, PA. on8-28-13 and found it very clean, and updated. The couple who owned the motel, were very nice and friendly. We were on our motor cycle pulling a small trailer and the lady, Mina, advised that they had spent a lot of money to paint, update, and plane beautiful flowers. The also advised us of a small friendly diner next door that had very good food. Thank you again Mina.

Room Tip: The price was very reasonable, and clean.

Rooms were clean, and renovated. It exactly looks like shown in the photos. Family who maintains the motel is very good and co-operative. Front-view of the motel is very good. Only thing is you need to carry your own drinking water, as there is no water purifier or filter inside. Other than good place to stay,

It's an old place, but a nice place. It's not fancy, but I found it to be comfortable. In comparison to other motels in the area, it was much cheaper. It is a pet friendly motel located near shopping and restaurants, but just far enough away to keep the country atmosphere. A walk in the woods just behind the motel will shortly put you on the bank of the Delaware river. My wife and I stay there whenever we pass through the area.
