Checked in for a 2 night stay for a family reunion. Front desk pleasant. Free Hot coffee and juice in the am was nice. Well mantained grounds. Had a football in the car so kids were able to spend time playing on the center courtyard area. Close to stores and restaurants. Take the tip and see Grey Tower! Rooms are CLEAN and well maintained. Nothing fancy but spacious rooms , just what you need for a comfortable night rest. Coffee pot, small fridge and large TV.

Had a nice cabin with plenty of room for a family of 4. Rooms are dated but, very clean. The rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh linens and towels. The only downside is you are not staying in the middle of town. I would stay again next time I am in Milford.

It is very easy and very secure reserve by telephone! The cabin was clean and was a very quiet environment; we had a wonderful time in a very beautiful town. Definitely I recommend this place to couples that want to leave the noise of the city and relax in a quiet place.

We stopped off here whilst passing through between Canada and New York. Our initial thoughts as we pulled up in darkness were a little sceptical as it looked old fashioned and not particularly welcoming, sitting on the edge of town.
The cabins were basic and a little date but very clean and tidy. We had driven for a long time so we were hoping for a good nights sleep and we were not disappointed by that. The rooms were comfy, very quiet and we had a great nights sleep.
In the morning we realised that although the interior of the cabins were dated they were set round a lovely area of ground, each with a porch and was actually really nice. By now our scepticism had vanished and we liked the place and wished we were staying a further night. After a very friendly chat with the owner and being introduced to his Scottish Cleaner we left, feeling very satisfied with or stay.
Great value for money and very comfortable in a beautiful part of the world.

We have stayed at Myer's twice now and enjoyed both stays. Very nice motor court arrangement that are both clean and comfortable. We will be travelling through the area again next year and Myers is atop the list of places to stay.

We have stayed here several times. Friendly people, clean rooms, and always quiet. The owners are great people who care about their customers. Don't give your money to big motel chains that bill you when you make your reservation, go to Myers you'll sleep better and they do not charge your credit card until you arrive. How many places do that.
Life is all about people and these folks are the best!

Clean, oh my! Clean. And, isn't that we're most comfortable with? The Myer Country Motel harks back to another era, but maintains the modern conveniences, too. Good beds, a handy room refrigerator and our room was outfitted with an outside-the-bathroom sink/vanity with tons of plugs for cells, blow dryer, iPad, etc. Private rooms - no noise. We've enjoyed this place year 'round, however, if you're dropping in during the winter months AND checking in very late, ask that the room thermostat get jacked up a bit before your arrival to ward off the winter chill. Brrrr. Overall though, VERY GOOD, VERY GOOD VALUE!!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Welcome to the Myer Country Motel where for over 68 years our standards of innkeeping excellence have been our trademark. Nestled among the Pocono Mountains of North Eastern Pennsylvania, the cottages sit on four acres with blue spruce and white pine trees lining the courtyard. The Myer Country Motel was established in 1945 by Ralph and Matilda Myer. Ralph remarried in 1952 to Audubon Winfield and they together continued to run the motel well into their 80's until their daughter, Audubon Cox, took over in 1975. She brought her energy and knack for decorating to the motel to give it a country home feel. Many people comment that this is their "home away from home". In June 1995 the third generation took over to continue the family business. Today you'll find the same warm, country friendliness that has set us apart for over 68 years. We hope you will visit us soon! ... more   less
