We named our own price on Priceline and got a room at this hotel for $90. I would say it was definitely worth the money. Spacious room complete with a comfy bed. The room also had a kitchen area with a large fridge, a microwave, coffee maker, and sink. Everything was clean, and we had no major problems or issues. Free breakfast, internet, and parking. I would stay here again for sure.

Got to the hotel, staff was really nice, elevator had been broke for two weeks, kids running around unsupervised, rooms are very small but clean. The bed was to hard and I don't like feather pillows. The continental breakfast was really nice but not alot of seating. I really think they need to enforce supervision of children.

Room Tip: nice for one person.

I'm going to start this review with the stuff that I think "every sports-lover who has no choice but to travel" would like to know. They have flat screens, ESPN, ESPN II, TNT and Versus - VERSUS PEOPLE!! The remote has a "last channel" button (not what it's called but it does what it's supposed to do) :-)

Now the other stuff. I really liked this place. The small sink, frig and microwave are always a plus in a hotel room. Bedroom and living area w/a sofabed are slightly separated by a short wall to give the feel of having a separate bedroom. Very high ceilings with a celing fan. Read these reviews first so I asked for a room facing front to avoid the noise from the PA Turnpike toll booths. Only thing available was on the first floor. Turned out to be a little noisy anyway but not late into the evening. We were right down the hall from the pool and across from a room with a lot of kids who LOVED the pool :-)

Newspapers in the lobby daily and coffee/teas available 24/7 in the lobby area. My husband even liked it and will definitely stay there again on trips to Pittsburgh.

We used this hotel as "overflow" during a family reunion. We had two suites, one for us and one for my son's family which included twin toddlers. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Even though there was a large group of youth hockey players and their families staying in the hotel at the same time, we always felt that everything was calm and under control, and nights were quiet. Breakfast was adequate if ordinary, and again, the staff went out of their way to help us find things for the kids. Rooms were nice and clean, pool was a great resource for the kids. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Monroeville for any reason, but especially for families.

This hotel is overall good. Breakfast is great.. How many times can you be asked, how are you doing.....how many times can you be asked, is everything ok... I always appreciate nice and courteous people. But mornings are tough enough. I was acknowledged at least 6 times in a 20 minute period while eating breakfast. If you visit this hotel often and have experienced breakfast, you know what I am talking about. One simple good morning is fine.....thoughts

Have stayed here a number of times, everyhitng's always perfect! Location is good and bad, right on the turnpike so it's easy to get an early start, but it is right "on" the turnpike, so ask for rooms on the quiet side.
Everything from the lobby to the rooms to the breakfast is one or two steps above the usual mid-range suite hotel experience. Kudos to the very friendly staff.

I stayed here from 10/29 through 11/1 and could not have been more pleased with this choice. I was attending a memorial service for my Mom and traveled with my niece and 7 yr.old great niece. Cousins traveled to Monroeville too and stayed here as well. April checked us in on Friday night and was so helpful. Kathy helped make the breakfast area special each morning. The rooms were good size, the pool a delight for anyone traveling with children and the parking lot had plenty of space. Some have noted noise from the PA Turnpike toll booth located behind the building but we never heard any noise in our rooms from the traffic. We did hear the local high school game on Friday night!! The location is perfect because it's close to everything. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. The rooms are equipped with ironing board, iron, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, coffee pot, mini-refrigerator, microwave, small kitchen sink in the "kitchen" area, desk and desk chair, flat screen TV and comfortable beds. Our room had two beds, a sofa bed and an upholstered chair as well. Pool, fitness center, Internet access, small convenience store in the lobby, free use of computer and printer in the lobby, free breakfast - all GREAT!
