“Comfy getaway”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2008

We were looking for a quiet getaway to celebrate our anniversary, and we chose the Classic Victorian Bed & Breakfast in Nazareth, PA. The house was built in the early 1900's and is filled with antiques and period furniture.
We stayed in the Rose Room, which was quiet comfortable. There was a canopy bed, lots of large furniture, a love seat, and an adjoining bathroom which had a huge shower and all amenities. We stayed in the summer. There was a room air conditioner that ran nearly all the time, but it had a steady hum which was not annoying.
The house is situated on a busy road, although the parking is in the back of the house, making it extremely easy to come and go. But, because of the busy road, there was quite a bit of road noise. We did not notice it due to the air conditioner in the room, but one might want a different room during the winter months. The noise was due to an occasional truck braking along the road. It was not large highway noise.
There is a charming wrap-around porch, where one can sit and feel in seclusion, due to the set up of the surrounding shrubbery. The porch has plenty of seating and tables for relaxing, and is shaded quiet nicely.
Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room. We were given breakfast options to choose upon arrival, and we circled the items that we desired on the sheet. The entire meal was exceptional. I heartedly recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

I spent four nights here, two on business and two because my flight kept getting canceled because of snow back in Cleveland. It's a smaller property, not glamorous but comfortable. It has a homey, "cluttered but tidy" feel. I stayed in a room upstairs on the street that was a bit small but had a nice bath. It was cool weather when I was here so the room was comfortable, but not sure if it's air conditioned. Rooms have white noise makers, which I thought was kind of neat. Not that I needed it. It's on a primary street but was quiet.

Very good breakfast. Friendly innkeepers.

I'd stay here again and would recommend it.
